1. What is the meaning of your name?

Name Anil is originated from Sanskrit and it means Wind or Lord of Wind.
English Meaning:
A blue dye obtained from plants or made synthetically
Shrub of West Indies and South America that is a source of indigo dye

2. Does your name affect your personality?


Yes. Air is one of the five great elements as per the Hindu religion. I always try to be one of
the important or kind of must have human resource where ever I am. (revisit).

3. Tell me something about your hometown.


Vijayawada is the biggest city of the Krishna District and third largest city in the state of Andhra
Pradesh, India. The name Vijayawada means land of Victory. The city has originated on the
northern bank of river Krishna. Today, the city is the home to many of the well-recognized
educational institutions in Andhra Pradesh.
As the commercial capital of Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada is politically active, sociologically
dominant, agriculturally rich, and is an industrial transportation hub.
Vijayawada is also famous for pilgrim place Kanakadurga temple. It is located on a hill
overlooking the city as well as river Krishna. One can also find some tourist places such as
Prakasam barrage, Undavalli caves, Bhavani Island, Kondapallli Fort, Rajiv Gandhi park, and
Victoria museum.
My home is located in Housing Board Colony in Vijayawada.

My home town is a developing city. Peoples characters remind a typical village culture. One
would still find many good old-fashioned (traditional) people who have strong principles and
values about many aspects of life.
They value the relationships.

I currently live in Bangalore. The diversity of the cuisine available is reflective of the social
and economic diversity of Bangalore. The restaurant group named Udupi restaurants are very
famous for its dishes especially prepared with pure Ghee.
Bangalore can also be called as foodies paradise because of its vast variety of foods and
eatable. As it is one of the metropolitan city, one can find all the popular Indian varieties.
I must mention especially about the breakfast named Bisi bele bath. It is one of the popular
local favorites.
Hometown food style
When we speak about food in my hometown region, I especially have to mention about the
Andhra style recipes. The state being leading producer of red chilli and rice in india, these
two factors cause the traditional dishes to be mostly rice based with liberal use of spices. One
can find Andhra style restaurants all over the India and generally known for its tangy, hot and
spicy taste. Hyderabad Biryani is one of the popular Indian dish made with rice and meat
flavored with saffron and turmeric.
7. Do you think that people have enough time for leisure now?
As per my opinion leisure time is completely vary from person to person. It aptly depends on
how one can manage ones time.
Especially I use to go on outing and tours with my family in my leisure time. Every day I
love to spend my leisure time with my kid.
As per my impression, I could say that people do create the leisure time, in spite of their busy
life.
Leisure Management is the phrase, which is getting popular in recent days. This leaves us
the impression that how people are willing plan their leisure time to make best of it.

8. Are there any historic monuments in your region?


Yes. There are quite a good number of historic monuments that we can find Andhra Pradesh.
We can find very famous Golkonda Fort, and Charminar in Hyderabad. When it comes to my
Home town Vijayawada, Kodapalli Fort and Undavalli Caves are famous. The Kondapalli
fort served a number of different purposes at different points in time. Though originally built
as recreational house for the Kings, later it went on to develop into a thriving business centre.
Its last known use was as a training base for the British rulers.

9. Describe your Job? How do you spend your typical day?


I am working for Honeywell. Honeywell is one of the pioneers in Automation and Aerospace
domains. My job role is senior software engineer and I work on application development and
maintenance. My typical day starts with checking my emails for any support and
maintenance activities of the product for the first couple of hours. Then I continue in the
design and development of the application as per the project plan. My office timings are
morning 8.30 to evening 5.30 including lunch time. I generally go for lunch with team and
we use to have quite a good time over lunch time.

A festival named Deepavali is one of the biggest festivals in India. This festival is
popularly known as festival of lights. It is celebrated in families by performing traditional
activities together in their homes. Deepavali means row of lamps. The festival involves the
lighting of small clay lamps filled with oil to signify the triumph of good over evil. These
lamps are kept on during the night and ones house is cleaned, to make goddess Lakshmi feel
welcome. The main attraction of the festival is to fire crackers; it is believed that it drives
away evil spirits.

I am Anilnag Sajja. You can call me Anil. My hometown is Vijayawada. I pursued my post
graduation from Pondicherry Central University. I am working as a Senior Engineer for
Honeywell, in Bangalore. I am married and survived with a baby boy and he is 2 years old. My
father is no more and my mother stays with me in Bangalore. I have an elder brother; he is
settled in my hometown with his family.
