a) Financing facility to the single person (entity) at any point of time shall not
exceed 30% of the banks equity, subject to condition that the maximum
outstanding against fund based financing facilities do not exceed 20% of the
banks equity.
b) Groups Total Exposure Limit not exceeds 50% of banks equity & FB only 35%
of banks equity also complied with.
Approval of majority of directors of MCB's excluding the director(s) concerned
obtained as the borrower fall in category specified in of Prudential Regulation.
(Includes persons who may not be director but hold 5% share). Nor any un-secured
Advances allowed to / against guarantee of Bank's director.
a) Clean advances to the borrower from all Banks do not exceed Rs. 500,000/-.
Written declaration in this regard obtained from borrower to ensure that
prescribed limit is not breached at any time. All unsecured financing above Rs.
500,000/- be properly secured.
b) The purpose of loan, is expressly stated and is for genuine purpose (Applicable
for clean advances as well).
c) Loans obtained by the borrowers have been utilized for the purpose started
and specific purpose for which loan is being obtained known.
eCIB Report obtained (where financing exceeds Rs. 500,000/-) and is satisfactory /
due consideration given to overexposure / default by borrower.
Latest Borrower Basic Fact Sheet obtained (not require if all the BBFS information
is present in Loan Application Form)
In case Fresh Lending / enhancement, no such financing to be allowed to avoid
classification / to meet indicative targets.
Guarantees issued comply with PR & Banks Policy (exception in Banks Policy,
where applicable obtained from competent authority).
In case Development Finance, Loan to Value Ratio not exceeds 90:10.
a) In case Machinery / Equipment Finance, Hypothecation Agreement obtained.
b) Tractor Finance insured at all the time during tenancy of loan.
a) In case Live Stock, individuals performing livestock evaluation should be
capable of recognizing these issues, making appropriate adjustments, and
documenting the results
b) Periodic inspections, at-least twice a year should be carried out by a qualified
and appropriately trained person, who may be an official from the bank or an
independent person.
c) The maximum tenure for livestock financing would be five years (including of
grace period).
a) In case Corporate Farming, Fund Based & Non Fund Based Financing from all
Banks / DFIs by any borrower do not exceed 10 times of borrowers equity and
Fund Based 4 times of borrowers equity including subordinated debt with
subordination agreement duly signed
b) Statement of Accounts / Balance Sheet as required under Prudential
Regulation obtained (audited accounts required where exposure exceeds
Rs.10.000M or a limited company. In case of fully secured against liquid assets,
financial statement signed by borrower shall sufficient).
c) As per Prudential Regulation, current Ratio 1:1 is complied with.
d) Where current ratio is less than 1:1, approval from competent authority
obtained and borrower is advised in writing to improve the same and adjustment
effort initiated. (Bank Competent authority may relax the ratio up to 0.75:1.00).
Reason for allowing the exception recorded in writing and risk mitigates in place
and advised to CMD.
Classification of Advances for every category, where applicable, is done strictly in
accordance with time frame specified in Prudential Regulation or classification not
required. Classification of Restructured / Rescheduled loan not changed unless
terms are complied with, for a period of 1 year (excl. Grace period) and 10% of
Restructured / Rescheduled amount recovered.

4. Prior to allowing utilization, field must ensure that:

Perfection of entire security documentation specifically regarding creation of MCBs charge over
property through Agri Pass Book No.
