Starting from 2012, CBR will be available on Renault Trucks Online


portal and on Renault Trucks DIAG
Objective: provide direct access to Renault Trucks experts knowledge
Knowledge database documented by experts with real cases of failures
and associated resolution.

Already used by Techline = Avoid unnecessary calls


Quick access to Technical Notes** linked to a solution
Easy guided search to identify the most relevant solution for a known
breakdown case

Feedback functionality: give your opinion and share your experiences to


improve the database

Navigation tab

Search diagnostic sessions

Diagnostic sessions
On the Tab My Sessions, the user
can see his own sessions (owner: user
ID)
On the Tab My Workshop, the user
can see the sessions created by all the
users of the dealership (Owner:
dealership).
Only the opened sessions and the
recently closed sessions (closed since
less than 5 days) are displayed.
The following information are displayed for each session: DSID, Repair Order, Creation Date, Status (Open or Closed),
Owner, Registration number and VIN.
The default ordering is done by decreasing session ID (last created first).
The user can sort the list on each column.

DIAGNOSTIC SESSION
Search for an existing session

You can find a session by ID, Repair Order, Registration number or VIN
- Select the worklist (My Sessions or My workshop)
- Select the tab corresponding to your search (DSID or Repair Order or
Registration number or VIN)
- Enter a search criteria then click on Search
The system displays the sessions that contain the search criteria.
Click on a session to open it or on Clear to come back to the whole list.

On the tab Detail: modify the
Repair Order, Registration
number, and see general
information about the session
On the tab Notes: read notes
and add other notes to complete
the DS only if the owner is the
dealership.

On the tab Attachment: view


the existence of attachment files
and add other attachment files
only if the owner is the
dealership (there are not limit on
authorized number of
attachments and size of the file).
On the tab Audit Trail , all
search history, solutions viewed

DIAGNOSTIC SESSION DETAILS

Continue existing search or modify existing search only if the owner is the
dealership. (the button Continue is available)
The following situations can be faced:
The search was not finished and the user still needs to answer questions.
If the search was initialized with free text query the clarification questions still appears if system requires it.
The search was finished and the system displays the sum up of the search with the associated solutions.

Reopen a closed session only if the owner is the dealership (the button
Reopen is available).
View session in Read Only (without continuing the search)

CREATE A DIAGNOSTIC SESSION

By entering VIN #, the search will be automatically filtered by vehicle range and
variants will be also selected
VIN# will also allow to save the session in REPAIR HISTORY (see last slide)
Registration Number is a mandatory field (easiest way to identify the vehicle in the
workshop), but if you dont have it, you can type any other text (just something to
identify your session)

If the VIN is known, it has been decoded (we can see the Vehicle range
selected automatically in the breadcrumb)

delete or update them by clicking on Edit button

AFTER TRYING A SOLUTION, GIVE A REPAIR STATUS
Only available if a diagnostic session has been created

Give your opinion and share your experiences to improve the solution
database!
Feedbacks are sent to Central / Experts Team to update or create solutions
You just tried a solution proposed by CBR. After verification, you can select the
Repair Status among the following options:

When you go back to the list, the repair status icon is displayed
with the consulted solutions
You can track the solutions you tried on the vehicle and how relevant it
was for your ongoing case

After you finish your diagnostic you
can click on Close to end your
CBR session

If you have previously


selected the repair status
OK (among below icons)

then the new window


opens with a warning
message.
You can optionally
add a comment and
then close the session

After you finish your diagnostic you
can click on Close to end your
CBR session

If you have closed


without giving a repair
status on a solution or
if you previously
selected the repair
status KO (below

then the new window


opens,
You have to choose
between the following:
- Resolved, but solution was not
found in CBR
- Unresolved
- Cancel session
You can optionally add a
comment and then close the
session

You can also rate the solution outside a diag session:

Solutions with highest rating will be displayed


on the top of list results.
Your can also make comments on problems,
errors, translations mistake for every solution

EXIT A DIAGNOSTIC SESSION

The user can choose to leave the session at any time (Exit).
The session state is saved
The owner of the session becomes the dealership

(i.e: MID 128 PID 102 /!\ with spaces /!\)

SEARCH A SESSION IN THE REPAIR HISTORY

With this function, we can find all the sessions for the dealer workshop.
The search is only done by VIN.
Its mandatory entering a value to have a result then click on Search.
The following information are displayed for each session: DSID, Repair Order, Creation Date, Status (Open or Closed),
Owner, Registration number, VIN and Initial Problem (its the first free text query entered by the creator of the session) .
The default ordering is done by decreasing session ID.
On this screen, the user can:

Navigate in the list

Consult the detail of a solution


Click on Clear to remove the search. The screen is empty.
