Diagnostic sessions
On the Tab My Sessions, the user
can see his own sessions (owner: user
ID)
On the Tab My Workshop, the user
can see the sessions created by all the
users of the dealership (Owner:
dealership).
Only the opened sessions and the
recently closed sessions (closed since
less than 5 days) are displayed.
The following information are displayed for each session: DSID, Repair Order, Creation Date, Status (Open or Closed),
Owner, Registration number and VIN.
The default ordering is done by decreasing session ID (last created first).
The user can sort the list on each column.

DIAGNOSTIC SESSION
Search for an existing session
You can find a session by ID, Repair Order, Registration number or VIN
- Select the worklist (My Sessions or My workshop)
- Select the tab corresponding to your search (DSID or Repair Order or
Registration number or VIN)
- Enter a search criteria then click on Search
The system displays the sessions that contain the search criteria.
Click on a session to open it or on Clear to come back to the whole list.
DIAGNOSTIC SESSION
Continue existing search or modify existing search only if the owner is the
dealership. (the button Continue is available)
The following situations can be faced:
The search was not finished and the user still needs to answer questions.
If the search was initialized with free text query the clarification questions still appears if system requires it.
The search was finished and the system displays the sum up of the search with the associated solutions.
Reopen a closed session only if the owner is the dealership (the button
Reopen is available).
View session in Read Only (without continuing the search)
By entering VIN #, the search will be automatically filtered by vehicle range and
variants will be also selected
VIN# will also allow to save the session in REPAIR HISTORY (see last slide)
Registration Number is a mandatory field (easiest way to identify the vehicle in the
workshop), but if you dont have it, you can type any other text (just something to
identify your session)

If the VIN is known, it has been decoded (we can see the Vehicle range
selected automatically in the breadcrumb)

Once all questions have been answered, the system sums up the search

AFTER TRYING A SOLUTION, GIVE A REPAIR STATUS
Only available if a diagnostic session has been created
Give your opinion and share your experiences to improve the solution
database!
Feedbacks are sent to Central / Experts Team to update or create solutions
You just tried a solution proposed by CBR. After verification, you can select the
Repair Status among the following options:

When you go back to the list, the repair status icon is displayed
with the consulted solutions
You can track the solutions you tried on the vehicle and how relevant it
was for your ongoing case

After you finish your diagnostic you
can click on Close to end your

The user can choose to leave the session at any time (Exit).
The session state is saved

You can find directly a solution by
entering the solution number (i.e:
K53859424)

You can search solutions by fault codes
(i.e: MID 128 PID 102 /!\ with spaces /!\)

With this function, we can find all the sessions for the dealer workshop.
The search is only done by VIN.
Its mandatory entering a value to have a result then click on Search.
The following information are displayed for each session: DSID, Repair Order, Creation Date, Status (Open or Closed),
Owner, Registration number, VIN and Initial Problem (its the first free text query entered by the creator of the session) .
The default ordering is done by decreasing session ID.
