Make a rough plan to cover up all the chapter (All the chapters should be covered)

Stick to it. No excuse. Nothing.

Take a standard book which is not so hard or not so easy. Average but most importantly in
the trend.

Every day count how many days left for the exam and prepare accordingly

Do not waste much time on other things such as things out of syllabus

Do not worry much about CGPA. Keeping CGPA above cutoff for gate is enough

Must do all previous 10-15 years question paper completely. This will help you the most.

Have the confidence you can crack it and start studying.

Don't try to cover the whole syllabus half-heartedly. 70% would be fine if you cover
that properly.
