‘Eye on Entrepreneurs’ – Entrepreneur Profile

Throughout the semester we will be fortunate to host a number of entrepreneurs and to

visit others at their place of business. Your task will be to profile one of the entrepreneurs
we meet as part of the ‘Eye on Entrepreneur’ series.

You may submit your entrepreneur profile any time before

June 7th.
You may submit more than one profile; your top mark will
be included in your grade for the course.

In your profile, you must include the following information:

 Name of Entrepreneur(s)
 Name of Business
 Date of Visit
 Location of Business
 Description of Products and/or Services offered by Business (3-4 sentences)

You must also answer the following questions:

 What were 3 things you learned from the entrepreneur?
 What characteristics do you think the entrepreneur has that have helped him or her
to become a successful businessperson?
 Why do you think the business has been successful?

Your profile must be written in full paragraph format (do not include the
questions, only your answers). Use business terminology, and ensure your
report is professional in appearance and content (grammar, spelling).

Critiques will be assessed using the rubric provided, and will be included as a summative
assessment in your term mark for the course.
