SUMMARY

Ravi,PRINCE2 registered practitioner, having around 16 years of professional

experience in the field of highway engineering, leads team of engineers and
designers on overseas engineering business and responsible for project planning,
design, management, acquirement of new projects and jobs from overseas clients,
monitoring the progress of the projects, evaluating and developing the work process,
development of new business fields and development of relationship with them.
He is also responsible for design and management of various complex urban and
rural road infrastructure projects for clients from Sweden. I possess experience of
working in various countries like United Kingdom, Qatar, Kuwait, Sweden and
India. Competent in AASHTO, British, Swedish and Indian Design (AASHTO,
DMRB, MCHW, IRC, QHDM, KHDM, VGU & ICAO) Standards. He always be
independent in handling of various typical highway design schemes and also
provides training and technical guidance to engineers / designers on various aspects
of highway design and interaction with client to help maintain healthy work flow
within the team.
In addition, He takes responsibility of establishing quality system procedures for
better working process of Highway Agency and NHAI and key experience in
highway projects covers New road alignment design projects, Resurfacing,
Reconstruction and Widening road projects, Existing road improvement works,
Pavement Design, Traffic Analysis, Highway safety, Drainage design of major road
schemes, site construction & supervision works in infrastructure projects.
His areas of specialization are MX Road,Civil 3D, Highway Design, Airport
Design, Drainage Design, Road Safety and Pavement Design.

lane National Highway in India

The road safety depends on humans, vehicles, and road conditions and these
factors influence the road safety separately or in combination. It is then
essential to investigate the relationship between road accident rates and road
design parameters to prevent road accidents and to provide a safe and
comfortable driving environment to users. The objective of this paper to
investigate the relationship between road accident rates and the road design
parameters. Also, to develop an accident prediction model to predict the accident
rates on four-lane National Highway in Karnataka.
