Curriculum Vitae.

Introduction: I am a cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon who has worked

extensively at the government sector for two years after my MCh and am
capable of independently performing all common elective and emergency
procedures required of a CTV surgeon including CABG, valve replacement
and repairs ,cardiac tumors and pediatric procedures like ASD, VSD, PDA,
TOF etc. I am also experienced in lung resections, thoracic trauma,
thoracoplasty and emergency and elective vascular reconstructions. During
my tenure at NRSMCH, Kolkata, I have given results comparable to the best
of centers. I also worked for short periods at a few private institutes to watch
and learn from senior surgeons working in corporate sectors and to be able
to assess my own degree of competence. After my exposure at the
Government sector and acquiring adequate exposure, I have now joined a
private institute at Agartala, Tripura where within a short period of two
months, I have performed several procedures including many emergency
CABGs for AMI with cardiogenic shock with excellent results. My wife is
an anesthetist and we now wish to move to a bigger city with a larger
population and an expected higher volume of work as independent
consultants .
