The following candidates have been provisionally selected for admission to the Medical Higher
Specialty Courses in this College for the year 2016 as shown below.
Please see the adjoining notice for important details for registration to the courses.
The selection process / admissions will be subject to any orders passed / may be passed by the
Government / University / Medical Council of India / All Regulatory bodies.
Note: (*) indicates Sponsored. Wait-list is in order of merit.

institution will deal firmly and strictly with all instances of ragging. If any incident of ragging comes to
the notice of the authorities, the concerned student will be given appropriate punishment which may
include expulsion from the institution.

NOTICE

Candidates who are selected and wish to undertake the Postgraduate Higher Speciality (D.M/M.Ch)
course in CMC, must submit to the Vice Principals Office (PG) a formal acceptance in writing (in person
or a scanned copy of the signed acceptance letter by email to princi.pg@cmcvellore.ac.in) of the offer of
admission to the course not later than 12 noon on 31.08.2016, failing which they will forfeit their
admission to the course. The email needs to be followed up with the signed hard copy of the letter of
acceptance and a demand draft for Rs.25,000/- in favour of CMC Vellore Association on or
before 5.00 p.m. on 31.08.2016. The remaining initial amount can be paid in SBI Bank, College
Campus, Bagayam, Vellore-2 or by Demand Draft (Details will be sent by email after receiving
acceptance).
All candidates will be given an acknowledgement of their letter accepting the provisional admission only
after the receipt of the Demand Draft. Those who do not get the acknowledgement must contact the Vice
Principals Office (PG) (Ph-0416-2284262).
All admissions are provisional and subject to approval of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare,
Govt. of India and the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.
Sponsored candidates are required to execute a service obligation agreement with the sponsoring body
and this college.
Postgraduate Higher Specialty courses will commence on 01.09.2016.
ALL candidates selected to the various courses MUST register themselves in the Vice Principals Office
(PG), Christian Medical College, Vellore-632002, on 31.08.2016 between 2.00 p.m and 5.00 p.m.
(Registration closes at 5.00 p.m.)
Failure to register and join the course on the stipulated date with all the necessary valid documents
will lead to automate forfeiture of the seat offered and the next eligible candidate in the waiting list
will be invited to join the course, as per the selection policy found in section 4.1 of the Medical
Higher Speciality Admissions 2016 Bulletin.
All selections are subject to applicable regulations by University / Government and the Medical
Council of India. Valid reasons for registering on alternate days may be considered by the
Principal.
Originals & Photocopies (3 sets each) of the following documents are to be submitted at the time of
registration:
1. MBBS Degree certificate in original issued by the University.
2. MBBS Course and conduct certificate in original issued by the Principal/Dean.
3. Certificate of completion of CRRI training in original issued by the Principal/Dean.
4. MD/MS Degree or DNB certificate or Provisional pass certificate in original issued by the University or
Board.
5. MD/MS/DNB course and conduct certificate in original issued by the Principal/Dean/Head of Institution.
6. Migration Certificate in original to be obtained from their respective University.
7. Eligibility Certificate obtained from the Registrar, The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai
for graduates of Universities other than the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. (Please note that a
Migration certificate is needed for obtaining the Eligibility certificate).
8. Transfer Certificate issued by the Principal/Dean (from the institution where you last studied).
9. Tamil Nadu Medical Council Registration Certificate & Additional qualification certificate.
Please note that a No objection certificate from the concerned medical council will be
required in order to obtain the Tamil Nadu Medical Council Registration.
10. Original and attested clear photocopy of date of birth certificate (Eg. SSLC/H.Sc. Marksheet)

11. Service obligation completion certificate in original in the case of former sponsored students of this college,
giving full details of date of commencement and completion of service obligation.
12. Sponsored candidates should submit a clear attested photocopy of the agreement signed on stamped paper, by
the candidate and the sponsoring agency on or before 31.08.2016. Non-compliance will result in automatic
cancellation of selection.
13. Four passport size colour photographs for issue of identity card and for University registration.
14. One CD which contains the following files: (i) A passport size colour photograph (digitalized photograph
with good clarity), and (ii) a scanned copy of the candidates signature in JPEG format. Both the files and
the CD cover should be labeled with the name of the candidate and the course. The image file size
should not exceed 20 KB.
15. Foreign Nationals must submit a No Objection Certificate (to undergo the course) issued by the Ministry of
Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
16. Photo Identity in the form of PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, Medical Council of India ID Card.
17. PAN (Permanent Account Number) Card.
18. Candidates who have done DNB MUST submit an Eligibility Certificate from the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R.
Medical University at the time of registration.
19. Candidates having done DNB as their qualifying exam MUST submit evidence of their research experience
after obtaining the required qualification and details of the institution it was carried out in.
20. Original Community/Caste certificate, duly signed by Dy. Tahsildar or District Magistrate.
21. DETAILS OF PAYMENT OF FEES: (Fee to be paid in cash in State Bank of India, Bagayam, Vellore)
An appropriate challan can be collected for paying the fees on the day of registration.
