Introduction
An amplifier is an electronic device that can increase the power of a signal. It does this by
taking energy from a power supply and controlling the output to match the input signal shape
but with a larger amplitude. In this sense, an amplifier modulates the output of the power
supply to make the output signal stronger than the input signal. An amplifier is effectively the
opposite of an attenuator: while an amplifier provides gain, an attenuator provides loss.
An integrated circuit is a set of electronic circuits on one small plate ("chip") of
semiconductor material, normally silicon. This can be made much smaller than a discrete circuit
made from independent electronic components. ICs can be made very compact, having up to
several billion transistors and other electronic components in an area the size of a human
fingernail. This is the important part in this device because it is included the most part for
amplification.
This High Power Stereo Amplifier with Equalizer and Heat Anticipator can be used at
homes by plugging it to a 12 volts power supply and also in car audio system by powering it up
directly in car battery.

Objective
We made this design to amplify audio signal from any source like phones and make a
better and loud quality of sound that can be use in wide range variety. It can also equalize audio
by adjusting base and tremble control. Lastly, it can dissipate heat for longer and stable usage.

Attach the positive and ground to the 12 volts DC power supply.

Switch on the unit by toggling the switch.
To see its working, see if the heat ventilation fan is working.
Plug an RCA Audio Input or just dock your phone.
Plug another port of your input cable to audio source like your phone or MP3 player.
Gradually adjust the volume control of the unit.
To make a good sound quality, adjust the base and tremble control.
Listen if there is an audio at speaker.

How it Works
The simple process of this device is just like input, process and output system. The signal
flow at the RCA cable from source to amplifier. It is pass through a volume control which is
powered by a stereo potentiometer. Once it was pass through it, the signal voltage will decrease
depends on volume setting. Then, after it will go through a pre-amplifier which is a NPN
transistor because it need some minor amplification because after that it will go through some
impedance circuit which is a low pass and high pass filter that responsible for equalizing audio
signals.
Low pass filter are the one who controls the base. It just because the low pas filter blocks
high frequency sound and resonate at low frequency. Because base audio was a low frequency,
thats the reason why it is controlled by low pass filter. On the other hand, high pass filter are
responsible for driving up treble audio. High frequency blocks low frequency and resonate on
high frequency. Once audio pass on this, the higher frequency boost audio will remain and thats
the reason why that treble can be controlled by high pass filter.
The amplifier chip do the rest of process of amplification because of it complex miniature
circuitry inside. It was powered by 12 volt DC power supply that has regulation feature within
the unit to prevent damage if voltage is unstable.
