Description of Study
In the midst of the Iranian revolution of 1979,
David and his family found themselves in a world
of turmoil. They had to leave everything behind
and escape from Iran to avoid execution. They
eventually immigrated to America, beginning a
new life in a vastly different culture. Here how
David turned to everything imaginable to fit in
but only found true acceptance at 18 when he
found salvation. Hear his amazing story.
This has been the doctrinal course of the
Saddleback Church and is explained in Rick
Warrens book, The Purpose-Driven Church.
The 24 sessions will take you on thoughtprovoking, life-changing explorations of 11 core
Christian truths: the Bible; God; Jesus; the Holy
Spirit; Creation; Salvation; Sanctification; Good
and Evil; the Afterlife; the Church; the Second
Coming.
This book takes an inspirational look at the honor
of being an Americanespecially a Christian
Americanand the price paid by the brave men
and women who left us this legacy of freedom.
Biblical solutions for todays problems.

In preschool they said your child was overactive
or a little immature, but just as smart as the other
kids. To just wait til they grow up a little. But
some kids never do catch up. Theyre not dumb
or lazy. They have a learning disability. Invite
others to explore the complex world of a learning
disabled child.
This is a resource that will encourage, challenge,
and equip both new and mature Christian students

Months of solitary confinement, years of periodic
torture, suffering from hunger and cold, the
anguish of brainwashing and mental cruelty
these are the experiences of a Romanian pastor
during his 14 years in communist prisons. His
crime was his fervent belief in Jesus and his
public witness. This is the story of thousands of
Christians who held onto their faith thru
adversity.

Description of Study
For this newly revised and updated edition, the
author expands on the inward Disciplines of
prayer and meditation, the outward Discipline of
simplicity and the corporate Discipline of
celebration.
Jim Cymbala believes that Jesus wants nothing
more that to renew and revive His peopleto call
us back form spiritual dead ends that lead only to
apathy and lukewarm religion. The times are
urgent, God is on the move, now is the moment to
ask God to ignite His fire in your soul!
Henri takes a moving, personal look at human
mortality. As he shares, he gently reveals the
gifts the living & dying can give each other.
Boyd shows us in this book how to begin practicing a religion of love rather than embracing judgmental doctrine based on our human perceptions
of morality. He exposes lies weve believed
about ourselves and others and demonstrates the
freedom we have for establishing true biblical
community.
This guide takes the principles learned from Jesus
and applies them in real-life contemporary
situations. Grace affects how we treat former
enemies, outspoken pro-choice activists or other
groups we might disagree with. It concerns what
happens today, between you and your father or
your unjust employer, or a cranky neighbor.
Reading a Bible need not be a haphazard journey
through strange and bewildering territory. This
will take you by the hand and walk you through
the Scriptures.
A practical approach to Bible study in an easy-tounderstand style.

Description of Study
Here is a practical Bible study designed to help
deepen your relationship with your heavenly
Father. Youll learn about Gods ways, His
purposes and plansand His unsurpassed love
for you.
Throughout this book, Ann expresses the beauty
and the struggle of focusing on her First Love
of clinging to an unfailing God in an unstable
world. She tells stories of family times and the
challenge of being a mother of 4 boys, a wife, a
speaker and an author.
Worry is public enemy #1 and the ways used to
fight it are far from effective. John offers
valuable advice both warmly practical and sound.
Dr. Jeremiah not only lays the biblical foundation
for understanding the Spirits multiple ministries,
he also shows how this forgotten Member of the
Trinity can transform a marriage, a parent, a
church and attitudes toward life itself.
Based on the bestselling book, this guides you in
the process of discovering personal meaning and
significance during the second half of your life.
Since its first publication in 1870, this book has
remained one of the Christian worlds favorite
books, with good reason. For Hannah truly
believed God intended His creation to enjoy a
happy, prosperous life and she intended to show
each reader Gods path to that happiness.
In this book, Dr. Wiersbe unlocks the treasures of
the Apostle Pauls joy epistle to the Philippians
pinpoints the joy stealers; shows why you dont
need to worry and outlines the secret of
contentment.

Description of Study
As you study the book of Joshua, you will learn:
The secret of victory over the enemy; how to turn
defeat into victory; how to claim your spiritual
inheritance now and the dangers of being a
borderline believer.
Paul was a happily married, middle-aged
volunteer Sunday school teacher when suddenly a
dreadful accusation changed his world forever.
This relates the facts of a recent child sex abuse
case and how Paul and his wife dealt with the
horrifying allegations against him.
The author analyzed more than 2,000 pages of
documented research to write this handbook, a
response to the endless, misleading rhetoric from
pro-choice advocates. It also provides workable
solutions for those who choose life.
This book explores the darkness around us. It
takes a probing look inside the U.S. government
and exposes blatant acts of deception designed to
destroy democracy in America; exposes the
forces trying to annihilate the traditional family,
property rights, patriotism and individualism;
releases the light of truth into the church,
exposing doctrines and practices that are
deceiving the masses.
The Savior we serve is not encased in a musty
tomb. He is alive and actively engaged in our
lives. In this book, several of Christian publishings most beloved authors share selections of
their bestselling books that celebrate the risen
Christ.
If you are seeking a more intimate relationship
with God, you will treasure this rich collection of
devotional meditations. Written especially for
those times when you need the assurance of
Gods presence.

Description of Study
The authors show how it is possible for parents to
plant within their children a vision of sexual
wholeness that will strengthen their resolve to
live with integrityto say no to the worlds view
of morality and be happy about it.
Your teens can establish a strong, lasting faith in
God. And you can take part in it with Life
Traininga powerful, unique devotional that
equips them (and you, the parent) with practical
tools to create and strengthen their spiritual
foundation. Packed with 260 devotions based on
the books of Matthew, Luke, John, Acts, James
and Revelations.
Josh McDowells extensive study of evangelical
churched youth shows that 57% cannot affirm
that an objective standard for right & wrong even
exists. The authors provide a defense of truth that
will enable adults to equip their youth with the
ability to resist the erosion of their values and
determine what is right from wrong.
The author explains that fathers are a major
influence on a womans emotional destiny. Your
relationships with men, your career and your feelings about yourself have all been shaped by your
father, whether you realize it, or not.
Our psychological and emotional makeup is such
that we all need what the Bible calls the
blessingthe knowledge that someone in the
world loves and accepts us unconditionally.
Because our parents are so important to us, we
especially crave their blessing and are hurt if we
dont feel we have it. The authors have successfully used the concepts outlined here to heal
hundreds of broken hearts and families.
