Libra Records is in the business of balance. Balance
in life, balance in environments, and most
importantly balance in music. As a record label
based in New York City, Libra Records focuses on
assisting artists in creating their best work. Libra
balances creating music for musics sake and a
consumer driver world by providing the highest
quality resources for its artists while promoting their
music authentically.
The label provides an natural, organic environment
focused on the artist, allowing them to creatively
express themselves using the best resources in the
world. Libra strives to create a balance between the
creative and corporate by bringing humanity back to
the music industry.
Libra is not just a record label. It is a culture, a
movement, a new way of creating music. The label
caters to musicians who strive to create music
because that is their passion not because of the size
of their checkbook. Libra is with the artist every step
of the way, providing environments where music can
be created naturaly, authentically and unburdened
by consumerism.
The label promotes music as art and musicians as
people not pop stars. Libras platform relies on
focusing on the musicians and providing them with
the tools to create their art to the fullest capacity
while promoting and selling their records in an

Personality: Bebas is bold and stands out in the crowd just like us. This font is
perfect for our logo and headers because it shows that we are serious about what we
do but love to live large and be creative. Bebas is unique but recognizable and speaks
to our ideas of balance, creativity and authenticity.
Usage:
- Bebas should always be in regular
- Bebas should be used for the logo in Winter White
- Bebas should be used for headers in Noir
- Bebas can be used in any pointe size that is larger than the body text
- Bebas should be used for all headers, business card names, and email signatures

Wisdom Script
Personality: Wisdom Script shows Libras playful side and focuses on an
authentic, human experience. This typeface reflects the feeling of going back to basics
for music and having life be a learning experience filled with beauty and excitement.
Usage:
- Wisdom Script should be used for the division titles in regular
- For the division titles Wisdom script should be set to 58.5 pts. then changed
according by a 1 by 1 ratio
- Wisdom Script will always be used for divisions in the according division color,
never just in Noir.
- Wisdom Script can be used in any pointe size that is larger than the body text
- Wisdom font is used for the tag line find your balance below the logo in winter
white when it is placed on imagery. The tag line is not used when the logo is on the
black square.

Montserrat
Personality: Montserrat shows that Libra Records is down to business but light
hearted and open to new ideas. It reflects a modern culture mixed with classic style
thats easy to connect with.
Usage:
- Montserrat should always be in light
- Montserrat Light should be used for all body text in 11 pt or 12 pt
- Montserrat should be used for business card text (not name or division) in 9 pt.
- Montserrat light should never be stretched or altered in any way
- All body text should be Montserrat light and in certain cases important words
can be bolded for emphasis. Montserrat should be used to write letters, emails, memos,
brochures, or any other body text.

Imagery
All imagery should be in the shape of a perfect square and the following pink
layer should be set over the image as a layer on multiply with the opacity at
85%. The images to use with the logo should be roads or paths leading into
nature, a mix of man made and the natural. The logo should be put squarely in
the middle of the photograph. These images depict a journey back into the
natural state of music, a return to the authentic, and a step away from
consumerism.

Color Palette
The following colors are used throughout the Libra Records branding. The Libra logo is always in
white when placed on imagery and when placed by itself the square is noir and the logo is winter
white. Rapsody Red is used for the Marketing logo for the word marketing and for the libra symbol
while the box remains noir and the name is in winter white. The same goes for Recording Studio in
The Blues and Distribution in Pitch Purple.

Copywriting Style
Playful
The Libra voice is one of creativity and playfulness.
We are here to help inspire and mold artists by
connecting with them and showing them we know
how they feel and what they go through. Libras copy
should reflect a youthful, lighthearted tone while still
remaining mature and ethical. The voice draws from
pop culture but stays away from being vulgar or
insensitive. We want our voice to be a converstation
between the reader and the company.
Honest
The Libra voice should reflect the honest intent of the
company and values of the brand. We want to have a
playful tone while still having moments of
seriousness to state our mission truthfully. We want
our voice to reflect that fact that we honestly want to
create music for musics sake and we are here for the
musicians not to just make money. Our tone should
reflect how much we care about the people we work
with and are dedicated to their success.
Professional
Libra Records loves to have fun and be creative but
remains professional in its use of language and
terms. We want to cater to young professionals and
refelct the fact that we have experience in the
industry and produce quality work. We are able to
use modern language to connect with young adults
but must keep in mind a professional image and
refrain from swearing or inappropriate language.
