    Purpose of marshall mix design is to fix


    a) a single definite percentage of aggregate passing each
    required sieve size
    b) a single definite percentage of bitumen binder to be
    added to the aggregate
    c) a specified target temperature at which the mix is to be
    emptied from the mixer
    d) a specified target temperature at which the mix is to be
    delivered to the works site & compacted.
