    ANSYS Project 1: One-dimensional Bar

    This project addresses the following LO and PO:


    LO1: Formulate the finite element equations using physical systems (Cognitive - analyzing,
    level 4).
    PO6: Create, select and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT
    tools to complex engineering activities.

    INSTRUCTIONS TO STUDENTS
    1) Deadline for this project is Aug 5, Friday, 5:30 p.m.
    2) Coursework marks of 3% will be allocated for this project. You may work in a group of at
    most three students.
    3) You are required to submit a group report for this project at my pigeon hole. Among the expected
    deliverables are:
    a) i. A CD containing your model and results. Label your CD with group members names and IDs.
    Or
    ii. You may share your results via google drive with me at ckkok@mmu.edu.my.
    b) A brief report containing the following:
    i. Your group members names and ID on top left corner of a separate cover
    page.
    ii. All the calculations and plots as described in Section 3.6: Post Processing
    Analysis of the project paper.
