Quick Description of order and Wedding Colors (Ex. Dove wedding cake, fireman grooms cake, etc.)

Thank you for choosing Lacey's Cakes. Please read, sign and return this contract within 7 days of your deposit in
order to book. Failure to return this contract, signed and dated, will forfeit your spot on the calendar. You may print
this out, sign, and mail it to the above address or make an appointment to drop it off in person at the above address.
Deposits/Payments for Wedding Cakes:
1. A 50% NONREFUNDABLE deposit/retainer, along with this signed contract, is required to book. We will
break this down into two payments. 25% will be due upon booking (nonrefundable). Another 25%
(nonrefundable) will be required no later than 1 month of the initial booking. Failure to pay the deposit in
full within 1 month of booking will forfeit your booking.
2. Payments can be made on the remaining balance. Payment schedule will be set to accommodate you as
much as possible. We know weddings are stressful and we will do what we can to help alleviate that stress.
3. Moving the date of your event will require that your order be paid in full before the date is moved, and the
full amount of your order is now nonrefundable. If you must move the date again, a 25% nonrefundable fee
will be applied. Moving the date is subject to calendar availability. We are not obligated to accommodate a
date of which we are already fully booked and you are still responsible for the total set in the original
contract.
4. All weddings MUST be paid in FULL at least 1 month prior to the wedding date.
5. Transferring the deposit to another cake is NOT permitted. New cakes mean new deposits.
6. Cash or credit only. We will not accept credit cards over the phone. Invoices can be emailed through Square
to be paid online for your convenience. Square is a secure site.

Cancellation of Weddings:
1. We understand things happen, however if your wedding is canceled the following policy will be in place:
*Cancellation within 2 months of the wedding: 60% of the total becomes nonrefundable.
* The fee for the tasting will be deducted from the refund. (15)
*Any special materials bought specifically for your wedding will be deducted from the refund.
Example Wedding cake total is 200
Cancellation 2 months prior to date: 200 x.6= 120. 120 + tasting fee + price of special
materials is now nonrefundable.
Please allow up to 30 days for any refunds due to you.

Equipment Rentals:
1. Fee is determined by each piece of equipment.
2. 50% of the rental is nonrefundable.
3. Equipment due back within 2 business days. 5/day late fee.
4. If equipment is returned damaged or unclean, your deposit will be forfeited.
Terms and Conditions:
1. Colour matching is not guaranteed, however, we will do our best to match color schemes.
2. We will not copy other artists work. We reserve the right to make changes to the design to make it our
own.
3. Absolutely NO changes will be allowed within a month prior to your event. This includes flavors, themes,
and downsizing of the order.
4. You may add-on to your order if the calendar permits. Must give at least 7 days notice. Changes will incur
charges accordingly.
5. Any equipment rental MUST be returned within 1 week or you will lose the deposit for it.
6. Any specialty toys, silk flowers, real flowers, etc. must be provided by you.
7. If flowers are provided by an outside source, we will arrange up to 25 stems for free, $1 for each additional
stem. You acknowledge that fresh flowers are not food product, and may contain pesticides; insects, dirt or
other contaminants and we cannot be held responsible. Please speak with your florist to determine if the
flowers are safe to place on food. If not, the florist should supply floral water tubes to safely display the
flowers on the cake. Please notesome flowers are poisonous. You are responsible for the research of the
flowers and we cannot be held responsible for any allergic reactions or poisoning due to flowers.
8. Delivery is 1/mile roundtrip from Robin close, bn17 7g in Litlehampton to the venue site and back or a
25 minimum delivery fee for mileage less than 25 miles.
9. We are not responsible for damage to the cake(s) after setup is complete. Cakes are heavy and require a
sturdy table and optimal room temperature of 75 degrees or below.
10. If you elect to pick up and set up the cake, you assume ALL liability and responsibility for the condition of
the cake once it is in your possession. Any discrepancies with your order will be discussed at this time,
otherwise you agree that youve received your order in acceptable condition.
11. Transportation of the cake(s) is important. Please transport your cakes on a completely level/flat surface
with your vehicles AC running. Do not place the cake on a seat, in someones lap, or in the boot. Failure to
follow these instructions could result in damage of your cake and we cannot be held responsible.
12. Our products may contain, or come in contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy and other allergens. You agree to
notify your guests of the potential risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions.
13. On occasion we will photograph our cakes and we reserve the right to use any photography for display or
promotion without compensation to you.
14. Performance of this agreement is contingent upon the ability of Lacey's Cakes to complete the agreement
and is subject to labour disputes or strikes, accidents, acts of God, and other causes beyond our control.
