C FORM WORKS
1 The description of formwork has to be mentioned in the definitions col

and gangways. Oil dressing in the surface of the formwork to prevent adhesion

not exceeding 0,2m. Generally we used to give 0,1m thickness. To the maximum, we
provide 0,15m for water retaining structures. It wooud have been better to change the
thickness as 0,2m instead of 0,15m
3 Kindly add the clause, formworks should be measured seperately for slab thickness less
than 200m and for slabs greater than 200mm
D REINFORCEMENT BARS
1 The measurement of spacer bars to be mentioned in the book as it may help to
estimate the steel which the contractor has used for his necessary works.
2 Kindly guide how to estimate the supporting bars and tie bars for the vertical
erection of the reinforcement cage and for shuttering.
