Si no puedes pronunciar muy bien una
palabra en ingls, no importa, los
estadounidenses lo aceptan
y no son ofendidos por tu acento latino.
Por lo tanto, no tengas vergenza de
lanzarte a hablar ingls porque en los EEUU
no es como en otros pases donde no se
acepta que las personas extranjeras no
pronuncien bien su idioma.
Esto se da porque EEUU es un pas de
inmigrantes en donde se tiene tolerancia
con todos los acentos y formas de pronunciar.

luego imprmelas o escrbelas en un
cuaderno e intenta descifrar el significado
de las palabras, luego

Cuando tienes que ir de compras, puedes ir a alguno de estos lugares:

Stores o shops:
Son tiendas que venden
mercadera directamente al
pblico y se encuentran
ubicadas, por lo general, en la
calle principal o main street.
Drugstores: En este lugar

encontrars una pharmacy (farmacia)
donde podrs comprar medicines
(medicamentos). Tambin encontrars,
toys (juguetes), electronic products
(artculos electrnicos), office
supplies (artculos de oficina), auto
accesories (accesorios para el
automvil), school supplies (artculos
escolares), kitchen appliances
(electrodomsticos), etc.
Convenience Stores: Son tiendas que
se encuentran ubicadas en calles
comerciales y gas stations (gasolineras).
Venden, entre otras mercaderas,
beer(cerveza), comidas rpidas (fast
food), candy (golosinas), ice-cream
(helados), soft drinks (colas), cigarettes
(cigarrillos), newspapers and magazines
(diarios y revistas), lottery tickets
(billetes de lotera), toiletries (artculos
de tocador) etc. Se encuentran
generalmente abiertas las 24 horas y sus
precios son ms caros que los
supermercados. Tambin se los llama
mini-marts (mini markets).

Tiendas que ofrecen

con descuentos.

Supermarket:

Outlet Malls/Centers: Son

ubicados en los suburbios de las
grandes ciudades y se pueden
conseguir a muy buen precio ropa,
calzados deportivos, artefactos
elctricos, cosmticos y juguetes.
Department Stores:
Son grandes tiendas divididas en
diferentes departamentos donde se
puede comprar toda clase de
mercaderas. Algunos de los
departamentos tpicos que encontrars
son: Appliances (electrodomsticos),
Clothing (vestimenta), Baby (artculos
para bebs), Tools (herramientas),
Jewelry & Watches (joyas y relojes), etc.
Shopping Centers: Son amplios

centros de compras donde puedes
encontrar tiendas de las principales
marcas, adems de restaurantes,
parqueos y salas de cine. Tambin los
