SYNOPSIS
ENGINEERING MATHEMATICS 1 exposes students to algebra through theory practical and tutorial which
focuses on standard form, index and logarithm, geometry and measurement as well as coordinate geometry
and graph. This course also explain the basic concept of trigonometry and its functions in solving problems.

TEACHING METHODOLOGY
1. Basic Design philosophies and the use of code of practice will be demonstrated.
2. Students will be required to write reports and/or discussed and on-going or completed steel design
