Editorial Intern
• Worked under the Editor-in-Chief and Associate Producer with an intern staff of six to help
develop the company’s Web site and increase awareness of the MakeItPro brand and its
services.
• Created and managed a section of the Web site devoted to inspirational athletes, which included
feature articles that I wrote throughout the course of the internship. It was showcased on the
Web site’s homepage and continues to be to this day.
• Researched and helped design a model of settings and restricted features to maintain the safety
and privacy of MakeItPro’s younger demographic.

Cuestonian January 2009 – May 2009

Staff Writer
• Worked on a staff of 18 to brainstorm story ideas and write news, feature and editorial articles for
the Cuestonian, a student-run newspaper.
• Submitted weekly blogs to serve as a contribution to the online version of the newspaper.
