Anticipated problems: The Ss may not understand some oral commands or tasks; if this happens, they will be translated
into Romanian.
Aims:
the students will be able to recognize the previously taught vocabulary related to food;
the students will be able to use simple grammatical structures to express their likes and dislikes;
the students will be able to produce chunks of language, in contexts which require enjoyable repetition and which
draw them into using English in an natural and spontaneous way;
the students will be able to recognize and learn new vocabulary items related to animals;
the students will be able to memorize the new vocabulary in an enjoyable way, through songs and games.
Objectives:
a) cognitive:
to present and practise names of animals;
to learn to use the new vocabulary items and to understand language structures;
to learn and improve word pronunciation;
to communicate efficiently using their language;
to pronounce correctly
b) affective:
to stimulate students imagination
to make the students confident in the ability to use the language
to use English while playing
to have fun

Stages of the lesson

Warm-up
