This letter is written in response to the advertisement at Unitemps for the position of Junior Medical
Statistician. I feel my educational background and experience is a right match for the post. As
requested, I have enclosed my resume with this letter for your further attention.
I am very much enthusiastic about applying for the position in Diabetes Research Centre,
University of Leicester, because of its excellent international reputation in the field of diabetes and
cardiovascular research.
I experienced collecting and analysing data, by using a variety of statistical software, for university
research project(GCCX) and several mathematical modeling contests(honorable mention(30%) of
Mathematical Contest in Modeling). These projects included finding the information behind the data
and presenting our findings in various user-friendly formats, such as graphs, diagrams and charts.
My qualifications include good in collection and analysis of data using various statistical programs,
adept at using various multipurpose data analysis software, such as SPSS and MATLAB.
In university research project(GCCX), bar graphs, line graphs and comparison graphs were used
to show the population development of Inner Mongolia Region and how it stifles the development
of Mongolia Regions fertility rate. Impressive data presentation of exploration was given for this
project.
