3 Assembly and Disassembly

3-1 Assembly
Caution: 1. Make sure to turn off the monitor before starting the assembly.
2. Never use metal tools other than the jig provided when assembling the product.
3. For the assembly, carefully follow the steps given below.
4. The jig for opening the back cover.
Description

1. 1) Place a soft cloth on the table and place the

monitor onto it with the front part facing
downwards. Hold the monitor set with one
hand and hold and pull the stand body
backwards with the other hand to remove the
stand body from the monitor set.
Caution: If you do not tilt the stand and use
too much force to remove it, the connection
pin may break.
2) Twist the screws for stand& back cover out,
Then separate the stand away from the LCD
main body.

1) Turn the monitor over and insert your hands into

the top of the monitor at the center and separate
the front cover in the direction of the arrow as
shown in the figure.
2) Separate the sides of the front cover up to
the directed line as shown in the figure.

3. Remove the SHIELD-LAMP.

Firstly bend the stick-point over.
Caution: The SHIELD-LAMP is sharp.

4. Remove the LVDS, LAMP wire, FFC cable, (the

things marked in the picture on the right).
And then remove the chassis away.

5. Remove the LCD panel.

6. Remove the 2 screws shown in the figure

7. Remove the 5 screws (Red cycles) and 1

ground-screw (Blue rectangle) shown in the figure
Then remove the bracket support

8. Remove the main PCB and IP board from the

chassis.

*The assembly is in the reverse order of disassembly.
