ThisistoclarifythattheOctober30,2015deadlinesetintheCallforExpressionsofIntentforSenior
HighSchoolTeachingPositionsforSchoolYear(SY)20162017isfortheexpressionsofintentand
NOTthesubmissionofapplicationrequirements.

Toreiterate,thepurposeofthecallwastohaveapreliminarypool.Oncetheteachingpositionsare
created,schoolsdivisionoffices(SDOs)shallpublishvacanciesforaperiodoften(10)daysin
compliancewithRepublicActNo.7041(PublicationLaw).

Interestedapplicantsmaycontinuesubmittingdocumentaryrequirementstotheirrespectivelocal
DepEddivisionoffices.Thehiringguidelinescontainingtheevaluationcriteriaandselectionprocess
willbeissuedsoon.

SalarieswillrangefromPhp19,940(SalaryGrade12)toPhp39,493(SalaryGrade21).Thepurposeof
thiscallistohaveapreliminarypool.Oncetheteachingpositionsarecreated,SDOsshallpublish
vacanciesforaperiodoften(10)daysincompliancewithRANo.7041(PublicationLaw).Interested
candidatesshallberequiredtosubmittheirformalapplication.Theyshallthenberankedfollowing
DepEdsevaluationcriteriaandselectionprocess,whichwillbeissuedatalaterdate.Hiringand
placementofsuccessfulapplicantsshallbeaccordingtothefollowinggeneralguidelines:
1.Priorityshallbebasedonranking.
2.Affected/displacedfacultyfromhighereducationinstitutionsshalllikewisebegivenpriority.
3.Theteachingrank,salarygradeandstatusofappointmentwilldependontheapplicants
qualifications.
4.PermanentfulltimestatusshallonlybegiventoapplicantswithPRCteachinglicenseand/or
appropriatecertification.
5.TheDepEdSDOshalldeterminetheapplicantsschoolassignmentsinconsultationwiththeSHS.
