Multi-purpose Cooperative

It is an autonomous and registered association of person with the common


band of interest, voluntary joined focus on basic needs of the community.

Process:
1st: organized and get at least 15 members.
Determine about the common problem and needs of the
community to be solve, uch as production or financial to clarify what kind of
cooperatives you will be organize.
2nd: Prepare general statement, called survey help you if they have a change
and success.
3nd: Draft cooperatives by-laws contains with the rules in regulation
governing the operation of the cooperative.
4th: Draft the articles of cooperation,. Here you indicate the name of
cooperative, its members, term of existence and other pertinent description
about your cooperative.
5th: Secured bond from your accountable officer (s), the treasurer or the
manager or both. The amount of bond is to be decided upon by the board of
directors, based on the initial net worth of the cooperative which includes
paid up capital, member ship fees, and other assets of the cooperatives at
the time of registration.
6th: Register your cooperative with the Cooperative Development Authority.
(CDA). You must submit four copies of each economic Survey. By-laws and
articles of cooperation, and bond accountable officer(s).
Benefits:
1. Provide goods and services to its members to enable them to attain
increase income, saving, investments, and productivity.
2. Provide optimum social and economic benefits to its members.
3. Teach them efficient ways of doing things in a cooperative manner.

4. Propagate cooperative practices and new ideas in business and


management.
5. Law interest rate instead of borrowing from other lender.
6. Always practice the unity of the member for the purpose of General
asemebly.

A. Because of the Filipino behavior In the past until now which is the Term
Bayanihan
Example of this today, any ware even student can do PALUWAGAN
or UMPOKAN - which is high risk to each member.
The innovation of this is you can call them KAPISAN which one of our
board of director 9yrs experience and handle it. Lesser the risk than
Paluwagan.
B. Our group main focus, each member has a proper balance of its
financial resource.

Mission
The SJMPC is committed to promote the members economic independence
and social responsibility through active partnership among themselves and
with other cooperative movements.

Credit Cooperative is one that promotes and undertakes savings and


lending services
Among its members. It generates a common pool of funds in order to
provide financial
assistance and other related financial services to its
members for productive and provident purposes;
b) Consumers Cooperative is one the primary purpose of which is to
procure and distribute commodities to members and non-members;
c) Producers Cooperative is one that undertakes a joint production whether
agricultural or industrial. It is formed and operated by its members to
undertake the production and processing of raw materials or goods produced
by its members into finished or processed products for sale by the
cooperative to its members and non-members. Any end product or its
derivative arising from the raw materials produced by its members, sold in
the name and for the account of the cooperative, shall be deemed a product
of the cooperative and its members;

d) Marketing Cooperative is one which engages in the supply of production


inputs to members and markets their products; e) Service Cooperative is
one which engages in medical and dental care, hospitalization,
transportation, insurance, housing, labor, electric .light and power,
communication, professional and other services;

St John Multi-purpose cooperatives
A- We all know that the cooperatives is a firm owned,controlled and
operated by group.which is not only look for the income,but also its
concerned the benefits of the co-owner/member. SJMPC comes from the
patron in Bataan Tinambac Camrines Sur which every June 23,24 San Juan
Bautistacelebrate of Fiesta.and we dicided one of our Board of director
either the parish priest or Barangay captain. For the popularity on the
SJMPC in the said community.
B- Main office is located at Tinambac Camrines Sur. We rent the Our office
near in the municipality of Tinambac. And have a satellite office in Bataan
which they started and it is open every Sunday 9:00 am 4:00pm

D- SJMPC have a least initial capital of P100, 000.00 provided by the board
of director, Base on estimated projected cost for one year operation.
Cooperatives invite members to join, and patronage the product of our
cooperatives. With the intension for mutual benefits of the member. And the
same time members shares, saving deposit use to run coopiratives.
