    The release of the official list of candidates for the Loyola Schools Student Body election has been delayed. The Commission on Elections is waiting for clearance from the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs regarding the academic standing of candidates, as candidates must not be on academic probation. The Commission forwarded the candidate list to the ADAA on September 10th but a reply is still pending due to the absence of the officer handling academic probations. The official list will be released once the data is received and processed from the ADAA.

    TO: Loyola Schools Student Body
    FROM: Ateneo Commission on Elections
    RE: Delay in Release of Official List of Candidates
    Good day!
    The release of the official list of candidates shall be delayed. The Commission is currently
    awaiting the clearance from the Office of the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs regarding the
    candidates academic standing. This is with regard to the provision in Article V of the Electoral
    Code which states that candidates must not be subject to academic probation.
    The Commission has forwarded the list of aspiring candidates to ADAA on September 10, 2016.
    However, the said office is unable to reply due to the absence of the officer handling academic
    probations who was on sick leave.
    The Commission shall release the Official List of Candidates as soon as have received and
    processed the data from ADAA.
