In Wal-Mart System, the Global Logistic Services is the project where we rollout the new
distribution centers throughout the US and other international markets. Here the major part is not
only introducing the new DC but also conversion of the DCs can be happened where the
additional benefit is reducing the logistics cost for the client.
Responsibilities:

Analysis of base Distribution Centre which is on live performing.

Create a scenario for the new ones based on current functioning DC.
Adding the additional requirements as per clients urge and testing before GO LIVE.

Description:
In Wal-Mart System, the Store Number Expansion (SNE) is the project which is going to create
and process the store number with expanded length. Currently Wal-Mart is handling only four
digit store number after this project; the store number is expanded to accommodate the five digit
value. The benefit is to allow the store numbers that are available in the system, to be used for
future growth domestically and introduce more store numbers to the system by increasing the
store number length.
Responsibilities:
Analysis and Preparing the Technical Design Documentation.
Coding and testing of components as per the requirements and also involved in providing
technical solutions during deployment issues and production bugs.
Walk thru and Status reporting on daily basis to the Onsite Coordinator.
