2. Were you surprised by the results?

No there are a few correlations that I strongly believe in and some I dont believe in at all but
was not surprised by the results.
3. Do you agree with the top three philosopher correlations to your own moral
philosophy? Why/why not?
For me I agree to a few things but disagree with a few as well. There is no clear agreement or
disagreement.
Agreement:
I strongly believe that all lives have purpose and once you have found that purpose you find
happiness as well. Happiness can be measured as a state of mind or by looking at the life of
the person who is leading it. Over a period of time I have come to strongly believe in one basic
philosophy We are responsible for our own actions and most results are driven by the actions
we take now or have taken in the past, rest outcomes are usually not in our hand. Also, if you
do something that you really like doing you will automatically excel at it. This would help us
gain some sense of achievement and in turn cause happiness and contentment within us. Also,
essence of a thing does not exist independent of the thing, there is no universal idea of "the
good and there is always an individualized ideal form for all living things. Hence I believe
that it is our actions that define our future and each human has variations of the path to meet
their purpose.

Disagreement:
I do not essentially believe in the concept of heaven and hell and I disagree that one must love
god to fulfill moral law or people are inherently evil. The concept of heaven and hell has been
created by society or religious preachers in order to scare humans so that they follow the social
norms and what the preacher believes is true. As stated above, for me I believe that our actions
govern our future and if people are evil, they will have an evil outcome.
4. What, in your early & mid-life, led to this imbued ethical philosophy? (i.e.,
influence from a particular person, event, or religious training, etc.)
Major influence in my life has been of my mother, she has always taught me to create my own
ethical, religious, mental and spiritual thoughts and rules to differentiate between good, bad
and mixed. Another person who affected and helped me develop my ethical philosophy is my
husband, he believes in spiritual guru and in my process of understanding the spiritual
program, I felt that the spiritual get-togethers are nothing but social events and people
complaining about basic day to day activities. This observation made my belief in an action
driven life even stronger.
