Dilemma & decision

Solution 1
Student A
From my perspective, I think the right way to go is Outsourcing is an effective
cost saving strategy when used properly. It is sometimes more affordable to
purchase or tested a good from companies with than it is to assay the good
internally. Outsourcing is a common trend in information technology and other
industries. Businesses outsource for services that are seen as intrinsic to
managing a business and serving internal and external customers.
In addition to saving on overhead and labor costs, the reasons our company
employ outsourcing include improved efficiency, greater productivity and the
opportunity to focus on core products and functions of the business more
important.
Companies typically save around 15% due to cost reductions brought about
from outsourcing. A 2014 study from Datamark, Inc. claims one client saved
31% over one year when outsourcing one aspect of its business process. Over
three years, the cost savings rose to 33%.

Solution 2
To fulfill orders, we should use an outside company to conduct all testing and
externally.
There are several companies that we can provide this service to test the
production and besides that charges a fee, this is a good option to see how the
company develops in production, we should try for a month, also must take
into account high demand that is taking our product, so we should take
advantage and expand, this will be our experience if orders are doubled.

I think the right way to go is the setting up a new, centralised testing plant that
would handle all the testing for all the Infideon plants because all testing would
be planned centrally and co-ordinated with the other plants in the group. This is
the problem the most important of the company

The costing would be of 3.000.00 dollars for made to build, equip and staff the
facility.

CENTRAL BUSINESS
The company Infideon they have identified a serious problem that could
impact on deliveries. productions levels will have to be increased during the
coming months to deal with an increase in orders, but that is not where the
problem lies. it is with the testing equipment. the planning abd supply chain
managers and quality controllers can see quite clearly that they will not have
the capacity to test the increased production with their Existing machines.
they have five months before the situation becomes critical. During that time
they must find and implement an effective solutions.
