An update on Saudi Arabia tax, zakat and VAT

Presenters

EY is set to conduct the 2016 tax, zakat and VAT Seminar, which
will be held at four locations Al Khobar, Bahrain, Jeddah and
Riyadh.

The seminar will be presented by our senior executives, who have


considerable experience dealing with Saudi Arabian tax and zakat
regulations and practices, and VAT.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has seen a lot of


developments with respect to tax since the last seminar held in
December 2015. Key highlights of these developments include:

Who should attend?

Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Plan with


its long-term goals, this looks promising for Saudi nationals,
expatriates and the business fraternity in terms of creating jobs
and more business opportunities.
The recent launch of an electronic filing system (ERAD) by the
General Authority for Zakat and Tax (GAZT)
The launch was part of government initiatives for the
digitization of the economy to facilitate online tax filing and
streamline communications with taxpayers.
The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states
implementation of value-added tax (VAT) from
1 January 2018 the move is set to transform businesses and
their operating models in the region.

This course is ideal for finance and accounting personnel


whose job functions include the KSAs tax, zakat and VAT
responsibilities.

The fee for this seminar is SAR3,000 per participant, which
includes the cost of lunch and coffee breaks.
