The Glory Within

Father God,
Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastor Ron and
his family. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love is
flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things will go
well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great You are and
how much I love You. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed in my body and
my soul.

Saul hated Christians and showed his hatred by persecuting and killing
them until he had an experience with God on the road to Damascus
one day. His faith in Jesus Christ now became as great as his hatred
for Christians had been. Saul begins to use his Roman name, Paul, and
spends his life spreading the Gospel, and doing things like Jesus had
done when he was on the earth; including miracles, signs, and wonders.

Praying in tongues is not a one-time experience, but a power tool which

we are to use in order to build up our spirit man.

Jude v.20, But my friends, keep on building yourselves up, build on

your most holy faith, praying in the power of the Holy Ghost.

Paul wrote more of the New Testament than any other writer. He says
in 1st Corinthians that he prayed in tongues more than anyone else. He
endured many hardships for the Gospel and he went around laying
hands on others to be filled with the Spirit with the evidence of
speaking in tongues.
When we engage the Holy Spirit through praying in tongues we are
drawing power from God who is living in our spirits. Speaking in
tongues (our very own heavenly language) builds within our spirit a
house where we can experience with God a greater friendship and
conversation. We are actually enlarging the spirit inside us to hold more
of the glory of the Holy Spirit, making us more powerful witnesses of
Gods glory.
