Dream Analysis

Step 1. List down all the images in the dream following this table

Step 2. In a separate sheets of pad paper, write down an image to a sheet. Enclose
image in a geometric shape, making sure that each type of image is enclosed by only
kind of shape.
Step 3. Amplify each image, by drawing ray emanating from each geometric shape
enclosing an image, and writing down as many spontaneous associations as can be
made for each image, with only one association written at the end of a day.
Step 4. After all the amplifications have been made, write down a short paragraph
describing what these associations nay be saying about the current or immediate past
life situation of the dreamer. In writing paragraph, try to answer these questions:

1. What are these images and their associations saying about my life now?
2. Given the associations I made for each dream image, what is the suggested
reason why those particular images came in my dream at this particular time in
my life?
Answer: In my dream, I was running because I was chased by a dog (the dog portray
that I expressing doubt in the intentions of a friend or perhaps I felt being betrayed).
Then later on, I find myself in a minefield (which may indicate that I was worried about
how to tackle and resolve my own problems). While exploring in the minefield I saw my
mother (my mom is my shelter, comfort and protection). and sister (I want to protect
my sister whatever it takes) running from the zombies (indicate that I was under
tremendous stress in my waking life). When I go to my sister and my mother I found out
that my mother is already a zombie. I pick a gun (dream represents aggression, anger,
and potential danger. Or I was defensive about something) and started to crying
because I have to choose whether I kill myself or my mom. I do love my mom so much,
so I decided to kill myself instead. And I woke up crying.

Step 5. Then, on the next day, read the paragraph that was written, and try to gain
insight into the meaning of the dream by answering the following question: In a single
sentence, what message is the dream trying to tell me?
Answer: My dreams tell me that I need to talk to my mom about my problems and
difficulties in my life, and I should stop running from it because once I keep it all myself it
will be the cause of damaging to myself instead.
