Polynomial Ring

Let P olR be the set of polynomials. Let us denote P olR as follows:

P olR = (a0 , a1 , a2 , a3 , a4 , a5 , , an , )
with
an R
and
i : ai = 0.
Thus we obtain
1 = (1, 0, 0, ),
x = (0, 1, 0, 0, ),
x2 = (0, 0, 1, 0, ).
We can easily find
x1 x2 = x3
where
xi P olR .
You may understand
xi xj = xi+j .
For example,
x1 =x
=(0, 1, 0, 0, )
The square of x1 is:
x21 =x2
=(0, 0, 1, 0, )
=x2
I guess:
f (x) g(x)=f g(x)
=(f g)(x)
=(f g)(x)
=(gf )(x)
In conclusion, I guess the homomorphism of polynomials.: f (x)g(x) = (f g)(x).
