A little known fact of ancient shepherding is that a goat would often lead a flock of
sheep.

righteousness and justice. True leaders want and strive to be servants and are not
consumed with only wanting to be the big dog on the porch or stage. Servants, to
serve YHWH, the Messiah, the Body.
Righteousness and Justice. This is essential.
What are we doing?????

Matthew 25
31 And when the Son of Adam comes in His esteem, and all the set-apart
messengers with Him, then He shall sit on the throne of His esteem.
32 And all the nations shall be gathered before Him, and He shall separate
them one from another, as a shepherd separates his sheep from the goats.
33 And He shall set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then the Sovereign shall say to those on His right hand, Come, you
blessed of My Father, inherit the reign prepared for you from the foundation of
the world
35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me drink,
I was a stranger and you took Me in,
36 was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you visited Me, I was in
prison and you came to Me.
37 Then the righteous shall answer Him, saying, Master, when did we see
You hungry and we fed You, or thirsty and gave You to drink?
38 And when did we see You a stranger and took You in, or naked and clothed
You?
39 And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and we came to You?
40 And the Sovereign shall answer and say to them, Truly, I say to you, in so
far as you did it to one of the least of these My brothers, you did it to Me.
41 He shall then also say to those on the left hand, Go away from Me,
accursed ones, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his
messengers

A Judas goat is a trained goat used at a slaughterhouse and in general animal herding. The
Judas goat is trained to associate with sheep or cattle, leading them to a specific destination.
In stockyards, a Judas goat will lead sheep to slaughter, while its own life is spared. Judas
goats are also used to lead other animals to specific pens and on to trucks.

So many verses are coming to context when looking just at Shepherding, sheep,
goats as well as the Shepherd Staff or Scepter. Please take time to check out the
post on The Scepter of The King in its Ancient Near Easter Context.THIS TOPIC
GOES HAND IN HAND WITH ANCIENT SHEPHERDING CONTEXT
Isaiah 53 is all about Yeshua. In light of the areas I am learning with ancient
shepherding practices and the Judas Goat this week, the verses in Isaiah take on a
completely new context.

Think about it. Now that we know what a Judas Goat is , and if we now can see
the Shepherds/Leaders are no longer shepherds when they stray but are referred to
goats. And the Parable of the sheep and goats is linked to leaders, servants,
justice, righteousness , equity, staffs, rods, scepters

So who was He led by as a sheep to the slaughter in these verses?

1.The Religous elite of the day.

2.The Leaders

3.The supposed shepherds who now are the goats.

AND
Who sold Him for 30 Pieces of Silver?!?!
JUDAS.

The Parable of Sheep and Goats has nothing to do with whether you know the
Name, walk the commandments, understand the correct calendar, know there is
one house or two houses.

It is all about justice, righteousness, equity andbeing a servant.

Daniel,

This is a very insightful read. I pastor a small herd of 5 goats, that have provided a fascinating journey for me into the heart of the shepherd
and his flock. My goatlings look to be led, to be taken to the area where they will forage safely in the woods. When I deliberately hide myself
behind a tree, one will notice my absence and begin to neigh, looking to see where I have gone. Sometimes, I remain hidden, and their
neighing calls for me get louder and more desperate, the longer I stay hidden. When I reveal myself, they come running to where I am, and I
caress their heads saying Its okay. Satisfied to hear those words, their sense of alarm disappears, and they return to foraging securely,
under my watch. When they become frightened by a sound that causes them to leap out of the woods in fear, they neigh and run to where I
am. But as soon as I say those words, and caress their little heads, they trust my voice and return to eating. My heart resonates with a sense
of tenderness to see how they have grown to confide in me, and have accepted me as their leader. They are calmed by my words, when
rub their heads and pat their rumps, and say Its okay, go eat. On the flip side of things, I superimpose that situation over those
shepherding the sheep of Abba Yah, regarding the level of responsibility, and the trust granted to those in leadership. It shoud induce a
sobering sense of concern, to those following leaders, and those leading the sheep. Trust is invaluable and directly connected to honor,
justice and equity. When one in leadership uses trust as the trojan horse that leads to destruction, it is as a premidated crime and
treachorous. That raping of ones trust, transcends into a loss of trust on many levels, on up to the highest degree of distrust, which is a
lack of faith and trust in Abba Yah himself.

MORE SHEPHERD,SHEEP, GOAT , ROD, SCEPTER, STAFF ,JUSTICE, RIGHTEOUSNESS AND EQUITY CONTEXT IN THIS COMING
WEEKS PORTION CHUKAT

Num 20:1 And the children of Yisral, all the congregation, came into the Wilderness of Tsin in the first month, and the people stayed in
Qadsh. And Miryam died there and was buried there.

Num 20:2 Now there was no water for the congregation and they assembled against Mosheh and against Aharon.

Num 20:3 And the people contended with Mosheh and spoke, saying, If only we had died when our brothers died before !

Num 20:4 Why have you brought up the assembly of into this wilderness, that we and our livestock should die here?

Num 20:5 And why have you brought us up out of Mitsrayim, to bring us to this evil place? not a place of grain or figs or vines or
pomegranates, and there is no water to drink.

Num 20:6 Then Mosheh and Aharon went from the presence of the assembly to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and they fell on their faces.
And the esteem of appeared to them.

Num 20:7 And spoke to Mosheh, saying,

Num 20:8 Take the rod and assemble the congregation, you and your brother Aharon. And you shall speak to the rock before their eyes,
and it shall give its water. And you shall bring water for them out of the rock and give drink to the congregation and their livestock.

Num 20:9 And Mosheh took the rod from before as He commanded him.

Num 20:10 And Mosheh and Aharon assembled the assembly before the rock. And he said to them, Hear now, you rebels, shall we bring
water for you out of this rock?

Num 20:11 Then Mosheh lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod. And much water came out, and the congregation and their
livestock drank.

Num 20:12 But spoke to Mosheh and to Aharon, Because you did not believe Me, to set Me apart in the eyes of the children of Yisral,
therefore you do not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.

Num 20:13 These were the waters of Meribah, because the children of Yisral contended with , and He was set apart among them.

Num 20:14 And Mosheh sent messengers from Qadsh to the sovereign of Edom. This is what your brother Yisral said, You know all the
hardship that has befallen us,

Num 20:15 that our fathers went down to Mitsrayim, and we dwelt in Mitsrayim a long time, and the Mitsrites did evil to us and our fathers.

Num 20:16 And we cried out to , and He heard our voice and sent the Messenger and brought us up out of Mitsrayim. And see, we are
in Qadsh, a city on the edge of your border.

Num 20:17 Please let us pass over, through your land. We shall not pass over through fields or vineyards, nor drink water from wells, we
shall go along the sovereigns highway. We shall not turn aside, right or left, until we have passed over your border.

Num 20:18 But Edom said to him, You do not pass over through me, lest I come out against you with the sword.

Num 20:19 And the children of Yisral said to him, We shall go by the highway, and if I or my livestock drink any of your water, then I shall
pay for it. Let me only pass over on foot, without a word.

Num 20:20 But he said, You do not pass over. And Edom came out against them with many men and with a strong hand.

Num 20:21 So when Edom refused to let Yisral pass over through his border, Yisral turned away from him.

Num 20:22 And the children of Yisral, all the company, departed from Qadsh and came to Mount Hor.

Num 20:23 And spoke to Mosheh and to Aharon in Mount Hor near the border of the land of Edom, saying,

Num 20:24 Aharon is to be gathered to his people, for he is not to enter the land which I have given to the children of Yisral, because you
rebelled against My mouth at the water of Meribah.

Num 20:25 Take Aharon and Elazar his son, and bring them up to Mount Hor,

Num 20:26 and strip Aharon of his garments and put them on Elazar his son, for Aharon is to be gathered to his people and die there.

Num 20:27 And Mosheh did as commanded, and they went up to Mount Hor before the eyes of all the congregation.

Num 20:28 And Mosheh stripped Aharon of his garments and put them on Elazar his son. And Aharon died there on the top of the
mountain. And Mosheh and Elazar came down from the mountain.

Num 20:29 And when all the congregation saw that Aharon was dead, all the house of Yisral wept for Aharon, thirty days.

Recently in my perusing of the Word of our King I quite accidentally came across this verse found in Psalm 49. The entire Psalm
is quite revealing in its statements about the mortality of mere men who believe in their small deceived minds they are immortal.
Verses 12-15 really brings one to ponder the message of the Sheep and the Goats in a whole new light. It reads like this as taken
from NASB:
But man in his pomp will not endure; he is like the beasts that perish. This is the way of those who are foolish, and of those after
them who approve their words. Selah. As sheep they are appointed for Sheol; Death shall be their shepherd; and the upright
shall rule over them in the morning. And their form shall be for Sheol to consume so that they have no habitation. But God will
redeem my soul from the power of Sheol, for He will receive me. Selah. .. Man in his pomp, yet without understanding, is like
the beasts that perish.
It seems like their are sheep that are so misled and deceived, resulting from the choices they make, to value the words of mere
men, above the understanding and wisdom of YHWH.
