Following Documents are required for different stages of MTO. Documents required for doing material take-off, depends on whether the engineering of area is being done on 3D or 2D. 2.1 Preliminary MTO of Bulk Piping Items Documents required - - PaiD’s = Line List - Piping Specification Equipment Layout & Plot Pan ing studies for major header routing - Instrument Hook-up drawings. items- Counted from P&I Diagrams. ary MTO. Generally this MTO is done afier 2 to 3 month of start of Detail engineering. 2. Take a separate set of P& ID s, GAs & line list for MTO purpose. 2.1.2 Line wise MTO to be prepared and mark the line considered for MTO in P&2.1.3 Coding shall be done on B.O.M. standard format only. Refer piping spec for coding items. 2.1.4 Ensure that line size, line service code, line n up. 2.1,5 Use one B.O.M. sheet for each. accounted in separate sheet against Piping Material Specification (PMS). line spec, are properly if line having two spec. Accuracy of this MTO shall be in the range of 70 - 80%. Generally this activity is done within seven to nine months of start of Detail Engineering.2.2.2 Intermediate MTO for valves and Special items.
