A 28-year-old bombing suspect, Ahmad Khan Rahami, was taken into custody Monday in Linden after a gun
battle with police, culminating a violent 48 hours of terror that began Saturday with a curbside explosion at a
charity 5K road race in Seaside Park.
Authorities said they have no indications of an active
threat to the area, but they are continuing to investigate
Rahamis social network, looking for anyone who might
have helped him.
