RE: Adjustment of Calendar for the 2016 Sanggunian Elections
Good day!
Please be advised that the Commission is extending the period for paraphernalia processing
to give more time for the candidates to facilitate the logistical matters such as the printing of
campaign paraphernalia. Paraphernalia processing shall continue until Friday, September 23,
2016. However, the campaign period shall still begin on Thursday, September 22, 2016 as
scheduled.

Furthermore, the dates of the Miting de Avance and the 2016 Sanggunian Elections Debate
shall also be adjusted due to logistical concerns. The Miting de Avance for candidates for all
School Representatives shall be on September 26, 2016 at the Colayco Pavilion while the
Miting de Avance for candidates for President and Vice President shall be on September 28,
2016 at the Colayco Pavilion. The 2016 Sanggunian Election Debates is now scheduled on
September 29, 2016 at the Leong Hall Roof Deck.

Attached is the updated calendar of activities for the 2016 Sanggunian Elections.
