COURSEDESCRIPTION
TheFrenchcourseforbeginnersatLUMSaimstoendowthestudentswithnotjustgrammaticalskillsorthe
abilitytorolltheirrsbutalsoprovidethemwithaninsightintothedelectableworldofallthatisFrench.

Theveryfirstlessonendeavorstoenamorthemwiththesoundsofalanguagethatis
spokenaroundtheworldby65to80millionpeopleasanativelanguage,andbyabout190to200million
peopleasasecondorthirdlanguage,withsignificantspeakersin54countries.

ThemanualthatwilldictatetheclassprogressionisStudio100,astructuredguidebookinwhichprogression
insyntaxandgrammarisaccompaniedbyacquisitionofinterculturalskills.Thelinguisticcapabilitiesare
attainedwhilepracticingcommunicationintheframeworkofeverydaysituations.
