oviparous
or
Plants reproduce using
4. Respiration (respiracin): Animals take in oxygen from the air or
Plants breathe using
photosynthesis (las plantas respiran usando la fotosntesis).
5. Excretion (excrecin): Animals excrete harmful substances such as
6. Growth and movement (crecimiento y movimiento): animals and plants grow (los
animales y las plantas crecen). Animals move from place to place (los animales se mueven de un
lugar a otro). Plants can move towards light or water (las plantas pueden moverse hacia la luz o el
agua).
HOW ARE LIVING THINGS ORGANISED? (Cmo estn organizados los seres vivos?):
A cell is the smallest living unit (una clula es la unidad de vida ms pequea).
Cells work together to form tissue (las clulas trabajan juntas para formar tejidos).
Tissues work together to form organs (los tejidos trabajan juntos para formar rganos).
Systems work together to form an organism or living thing (los sistemas trabajan
LIVING THINGS CAN BE CLASSIFIED (se pueden clasificar) INTO 5 KINGDOMS (en 5 reinos):
THE MONERA
THE PROTIST
THE FUNGUS
THE ANIMAL
THE PLANT
