2 New collection device or technology support

2.1 Accuver support

An issue has been fixed relating to specific Accuver log files (version 4.1.0) that caused
Analyzer to display a huge number of messages with the same timestamps.
A problem has been resolved relating to specific Accuver log files (version 3.3.2.74) that
prevented Analyzer from setting relevant LTE scanner attributes.
An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from setting several LTE-Advanced
Carrier Aggregation attributes, such as:
LTE_UE_RSRP_for_Carrier
LTE_UE_RSRQ_for_Carrier
LTE_UE_RSSI_for_Carrier
LTE_UE_CINR_for_Carrier
LTE_UE_CQI_Carrier_0(1)_for_SubBand
A problem has been resolved relating to some XCAL log files (version 4.09.332) that
prevented Analyzer from decoding relevant VoLTE SIP messages.
An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from decoding GPS coordinates while in
Location binning mode.

2.2 Ascom TEMS support

A feature has been added that ensures reuse of the TRRWrapper processes when loading
new files, thereby avoiding the overhead that occurred before the loading of each file. This
feature can be controlled using the Format/TEMS/Use helper process pool preference.
An issue has been fixed that caused Analyzer to crash when loading specific TEMS
Investigation 15.3.3 log files.
A problem has been resolved that caused Analyzer to report out of range values for SIR.
An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from setting GSM and UMTS scanner
attributes as expected in specific TEMS Investigation 16.1.1 files using IB Flex scanners.
A problem has been resolved that prevented Analyzer from displaying selected attributes
as expected in customized Repository templates when using certain TEMS .trp log files.
An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from successfully loading specific TEMS
log files.
A problem has been resolved that caused Analyzer to set incorrect values for the attribute
Task_APP_Bytes_DL.

2.3 DataPro support

Added external GPS0 data, in case the Scanner data does not contain GPS data.

Actix Analyzer Update

February 2015

A problem has been resolved that caused Analyzer to set incorrect values for the attribute
LTE_Scan_EARFCN_xxxx_AntY_RS_CINR_for_PCI.

2.4 Ding Li support

Added support for Pilot Fleet and Pilot Panorama version 9.0 in Ding Li file format.

Added support for SAMSUNG SIII i9308C and S5 i9600 in Ding Li file format.

Added support for ZTE MF637U in Ding Li file format.

Added support for 64QAM attributes in Ding Li file format. New attributes are set, such as:
LTE_UE_ModulationUsage_QPSK_DL_CW0
LTE_UE_ModulationUsage_16QAM_DL_CW0
LTE_UE_ModulationUsage_64QAM_DL_CW0
LTE_UE_ModulationUsage_QPSK_DL_CW1
LTE_UE_ModulationUsage_16QAM_DL_CW1
LTE_UE_ModulationUsage_64QAM_DL_CW1

Added support for a new R&S TSMW LTE scanner device in Ding Li file format.
Improvements added to the support of the R&S TSMW UMTS scanner device in Ding Li file
format.
An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from setting GPS attributes in specific
Ding Li log files.

2.5 Huawei Probe support

Added support for Huawei Probe Genex Probe file format version 2.13.

2.6 Meritech support

Added support for Meritech Sigma-ML (binary file).

2.7 Qualcomm support

An issue has been fixed that caused Analyzer to set values for the RTP attribute
RTP_Sequence_Number_Arr that were not consistent with the corresponding values
displayed in the Message Browser.
An issue has been fixed that, during RACH procedures, caused Analyzer to set incorrect
values for the attribute LTE_UE_Timing_Advance.
In LTE, two new attributes have been created to define the number of resource blocks that
the UE is allocated in downlink for both TB1 and TB2. The attributes are called:
LTE_UE_RB_Num_DL_TB0
LTE_UE_RB_Num_DL_TB1

2.8 Rohde & Schwarz support

In LTE, added support for MIMO usage in downlink in P3 Rohde & Schwarz log files.
Attributes involved are:
LTE_UE_MIMO_1TB_Usage
LTE_UE_MIMO_2TB_Usage

A problem has been resolved that prevented Analyzer from displaying Latitude and
Longitude on a table with specific P3 Rohde & Schwarz 4.81 log files.
An issue has been fixed that caused Analyzer to crash while loading specific Rohde &
Schwarz log files.
A problem has been resolved that prevented Protocol Stack Browser functionality from
being populated as expected when loading specific Rohde & Schwarz log files.

2.9 Swissqual support

2.10

Added support for Swissqual file format version 14.2.

Generic
In LTE-Advanced CA, more information has been extracted from RRC Connection
Reconfiguration message in order to better evaluate PCell (Primary Cell) versus SCell
(Secondary Cell) parameters.
In UMTS, several bugs were fixed in the Analyzer RRC event detection engine.
An issue has been fixed that caused Analyzer to set incorrect values for the attributes
Ping_Technology and Radio_Access_mode for the scenario: CS voice call + HSPA+.
In UMTS, an issue has been fixed in the event detection engine for PS calls. This caused
Analyzer to detect false drops during 3G to LTE cell reselection from Cell PCH and URA PCH
states.
In VoLTE SRVCC, a problem has been resolved that caused Analyzer to incorrectly
determine the UMTS CS call state, after a VoLTE SRVCC handover to UMTS.
In LTE, an issue has been fixed that caused Analyzer to detect a drop
(LTE_RRCConnectionDrop event) following a Service Reject message.
In VoIP, an issue has been fixed that prevented the Voice Over IP event detection engine
from working as expected.
An issue has been fixed that caused Analyzer to display speech quality measurement
(PESQ, POLQA and MOS) attributes with inappropriate Format Groups.
In VoLTE, added support for RTCP Latency for RTCP packets based on the RTT (Round Trip
Time).

Payload rate CDF chart in the LTE-Advanced CA tab showed unexpected Gaussian
distribution.
An issue has been fixed in the LTE Cluster Acceptance Report where the RB DL
distribution chart in the App Performance DL tab showed an incorrect value on the X axis
range.
A problem has been resolved that prevented the LTE-Advanced Stateform from being fully
populated in case of legacy LTE log files.
