Does the difficulty of golf holes depend on the gender?

Introduction
Golf is the sport that I used to play and it is characterized by the patience and
concentration that you have to have on your swing. In my school most of my
friends didnt know how difficult the sport was, so I decided to do some research.
Through the ideas that I thought, one of them was if the gender had any relation
with golf. Certainly it was not a clear idea as in professional golf it does not have
any relation, it is independent. Thus, I wanted to know if my schools population
was any different, therefore I asked thirty of my friends, including male and
females, to join me in one of my practices. The plan was to make some holes in
one shot. This will give the frequencies in which each gender get hole in one in
each of the holes. That gave me the research question: Does golf toughness vary
based on gender?
Now, this exploration aims to identify if the gender has any relation with the
difficulty of the holes. For knowing this, some linear correlations are going to be
done, as well as a chi square test, to prove if variables are dependent or
independent. Then, what correlations are? Correlation quantifies the extent to
which two quantitative variables, X and Y, go together. When high values of X are
associated with high values of Y, a positive correlation exists. When high values of
X are associated with low values of Y, a negative correlation exists.
And what does a chi square test is? The Chi-square test is intended to test how
likely it is that an observed distribution is due to chance. It is also called a
"goodness of fit" statistic, because it measures how well the observed

distribution of data fits with the distribution that is expected if the variables are
independent.

A Chi-square test is designed to categorical data. That means the data has
counted and divided into categories. It will not work with parametric or
continuous data (such as height in inches). Another way to describe the Chisquare test is that it tests the null hypothesis that the variables are
independent

Description of the table: this table shows the numbers of holes and the distance that each hole has
as you can see all of these hole have a different distance

Description of the graph: In this case is useless to make a linear ecuation, as it is just presenting the
distance that each hole has to the hole.

Number of Holes

Description of the graph: (negative, linear correlation) The previous graph presented a strong
negative linear correlation as the r value is:-0.99 . that mean as the distances to the hole

decreases there was a lower frequency to make a hole in one

Hole Number

Description of the graph: (positive, linear correlation) The previous graph presented a strong
positive correlation as the r value is: 0.98 that mean as the distances to the hole decreases and

there was a higher frequency in making a hole in one

Now, looking at the results that the graphs and tables showed, I wanted to know
what would happened if the suggested ecuations of the correlations were equaled.
Taking into account that either females and males had in the third hole the same
frequency, then:
4.1 x +33=3.9 x +7.5
4.1 x 3.9 x=7.533

8 x=25.5

x=

This will guarantee that both graphs will intercept at 3.

Description of the graph: Series 1 represent female results. Series to represent male results.
Results have a relation in the hole three, meaning that at that distance for female and male the
difficulty of the hole is equal.

Thus, for corroborating that the difficulty does not varies in the gender, the chi
square test was developed:
