1. INTRODUCTION.
Technology nowadays are still changing and improving. Many people are
getting in touch with technologies. People around the globe are adapting to the
use and approach of technologies. Some are afraid to use such technologies like
cellphone and computers. As years passed by it is believed that technology will
make things easier and faster.
1.1 STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM.
Vapers Hut. In the present, Vapers Hut is using pen and papers for their
Inventory System which cause them a lot of time to finish the task. It is said that
Vapers Hut need a faster, reliable and a convenient system to make their
operations much more faster.
1.1.1 GENERAL PROBLEM

How to develop an Inventory System for the Vapers Hut that will
make their operations much more faster and convenient.
1.1.2 SPECIFIC PROBLEM

How to develop a system with a list of items in a database?

How to develop a system with an option to add and remove

items in the item list?

How to develop a system with an option to add and subtract

item counts in the database?

How to develop a system with payment procedures?

1.1.3 OBJECTIVES
The aim of this study is to make an Inventory system that will be reliable to make
the Vapers Hut operation faster.

1.3.1 General Objectives

To create a system or a Movie Ticketing System for One Theater that will
print out a receipt with a ticket and that is available for improvement.

To create a system or an Inventory system that can automatically tally

the item counts and can also perform payment methods.

1.3.2 Specific Objectives

To create a system that will allow the user to add and remove items in the item
list in the database, allow the user to add or subtract item counts in the item list, and also
allow the user to perform payment methods in the system.

1.4 Significance of the Study.

The system is made because there are some Movie Theaters not only One
Theater that is facing both technical problems and human errors. It is made to ensure
that

the

customer

will

receive

satisfying

service

from

the

Theater.

The system which is Jack Inventory System is a kind of system that will be able
to replace the systems in SMEs. The system can be used for inventory and payment
transaction.
The research study will help the future researchers for their case study if its
involving things like this study itself. The future researchers can use this study as their
guidelines

in

making

their

own

case

study.

The main benefactor of the system is those SMEs that will use the system for
their own. Since they will use it, they will benefit from it. There are others that will also
benefit like the researchers which will earn profits such as knowledge from the study, the
future developers of the system who will be able to develop it and the customer of SMEs.

1.5 Scope and Limitations.

Scope:

The system will only provide a receipt as a result of transactions by the customer
to the clerk.
The printed receipt will only show the full name of the customer.
As printed, the receipt will also show the chosen movie by the customer.
As printed with the name, chosen movie it will also print the paid value by the
customer.
Limitations:
The system cannot give a refund for those who have a mistaken receipt as a
result of payments.
The system cannot give a receipt for reservation on the date the customer
wanted to watch.
The ticket is only valid on the date issued. The bought ticket is only valid at the
date the ticket is issued.
The is only valid to the chosen movie, it is not valid for other movies.

2.1 Methodology.
Modified waterfall model. The modified waterfall model is a kind of model use in
System Design Life Cycle that have a series of phase that is followed in order to make
the predetermined project. It have five phases namely: Planning Phase, Analyze Phase,
Designing Phase, Implementation Phase, and Maintenance Phase. In Planning phase,
the group will start to think what will be the project about, what it will do and what is the
needed resources. In Analyze phase, the group will conduct a analyzing of the planned
project. In Designing phase, the design of the project will be determined whether what it
will look like. In Implementation phase, the planned, analyzed and designed project will
be implemented. Lastly in Maintenance phase, the project should be maintained or be

sustained. In Modified waterfall model, you can go back to the phases to add or remove
things needed to adjust.

3.1 Data Gathering.

The series of questions below are provided by the researcher and answered by the
interviewed:
1. What are the technical problems you are facing in your Movie Theater?
- Sometimes, we encounter human errors in handling the tickets.
2. What do you think is the possible solutions for your problems?
- Proper employee training will do.
3. Are you willing to replace your current system with our system if our system is
more reliable?
- Yes, especially if we can avoid human error and technical problems.
4. Are you willing to support our system for your Movie Theater in case you have
taken liken of it?
- If it proves to be beneficial to our Movie Theater.
5. Will you give us a credits in case you have taken a liken to our system?

Definitely yes, as long as the previous questions that you already ask will be
met.
