Purpose:InanySAPPlantMaintenanceimplementation,customerwillaskabouthowtohandletheAnnual
MaintenanceContractProcess(AMCProcess)inSAP.Peoplemightfollowdifferentprocedures,hereIhave
documentedoneprocessandthismightbeusefulforthefreshers.

AMCProcessforPreventiveMaintenance:

1.CreateServiceMaster.
2.CreateOutlineAgreement
3.CreateGeneralMaintenanceTasklist
4.CreateMaintenancePlan
5.ScheduleMaintenancePlan
6.ReleaseMaintenanceOrder
7.CreatePurchaseOrderagainstthePurchaseRequisition
8.CreateServiceEntrysheetagainstthePurchaseOrder
9.PerformTECOfortheMaintenanceOrder

Step1:CreateServiceMasterbyusingthetransactioncodeAC01.

Step2:CreateOutlineAgreement/ServiceContractforAMCbyusingtheTransaconCodeME31K
EnternecessarydatalikeVendor,AgreementType,ItemCategoryasDandAcctAssignmentCat.asF

Step5:ScheduleMaintenancePlanandReleaseMaintenanceOrder
1.MaintenancePlancanbescheduledmanuallybyusingtheTransactionIP10,inregularpracticethese
maintenanceplanswillberunonbatchjobinbackground.
2.Uponscheduling,MaintenanceOrderswillbetriggeredwithreferencetotheintervalsmaintainedin
MaintenancePlan
3.TheMaintenanceOrders(Preventive)calledwillbereleasedtoprocessfurther
4.PurchaserequisitionwillbetriggeredonreleaseofMaintenanceOrder.

Step6:ProcessofPurchaseRequisitiontoPurchaseOrders
UsethetransactionME21n,CreatePurchaseOrderwithreferencetothePurchaseRequisitionnumberwhichwas
createdintheMaintenanceOrder.

Step7:UsethetransactionML81n,CreateserviceentrysheetwithreferencetothePurchaseOrderwhichwas
createdfromPurchaseRequisitionshownintheearlierscreenshot.

AftercompletionoftheServiceentrysheetservicecostwillreflectintheMaintenanceOrderanddotheTECOand
othernormalPMprocesslikesettlementandbusinesscompletionoftheorder.

POhasbencreated.

CreateServiceEntrySheetwithreferencetoPurchaseOrder

SimilarlyforanyPaidBreakDownServices,wecancreateonemorelineitemintheOutlineAgreementand
processthesamelikeBreakDownOrder.
