NORFOLK
FOOD PANTRY
Please
remember to
keep our
volunteers in
your prayers while they serve as
Gods hands in our community. As
September winds down, we
continue to collect non-perishable
items in the boxes located
throughout the church. Also
appreciated are monetary gifts for
the perishable items to be
purchased. Thank you for your
continued donations of egg
cartons and plastic grocery bags
which are used daily at the pantry.

Tangled Blue, an indi-folk duo, will
be in concert sharing their music
and faith on Saturday, Oct. 8 @ 7

receive a free-will offering to
benefit Lutheran World Relief
hunger programming. For more
information, see their poster in the

additional yellow
T-shirts with Gods

Do you have
a favorite
hymn
or 3?
As part of an
effort to help
our Pastors
choose music
we all love for
worship
services, please note your 3
favorite hymns on the back side of
todays Registration Slip.
We will be forming
a group to study
the layout (liturgy
and music) of the
Contemporary
Worship Service.
What would YOU
like to see the
Contemporary
Worship look like?
This small group
will be limited to 5 members, so if you
are interested in this short-term study,
please sign up on todays Registration
Slip. We will contact you when a date
and time is set for the first meeting.
BRIGHT
HORIZONS
DIAPER DRIVE
During the month
of September, we
will be collecting
disposable diapers
for Bright
Horizons. They are especially in
need of sizes 4, 5, and 6. Look for
the collection tote in the west
hallway near the peanut butter
pyramid. Thank you! Diapers cost
approx. $100/mo. and all daycare
providers REQUIRE disposable
diapers. Your donations are
greatly appreciated!
