A. Preliminaries

- Checking of attendance and assignment
B. Lesson Proper
1. Motivation
Show a slide show presentation to the students
Ask: What program or software was used in creating the presentation?
2. Presentation
Say: Today we will study about Microsoft Office Power Point. Well talk
about some introductions and well learn the functions of the different
buttons found in the MS Power Point Tabs.
3. Activity
- Students will be divided into nine groups. Each group will discuss
about the buttons found in the particular assigned to them.
Group 1 = Office Button
Group 6 = Slide
Show Tab
Group 2 = Home Tab
Group 7 = Review Tab
Group 3 = Insert Tab
Group 8 = View Tab
Group 4 = Design Tab
Group 9 = Format Tab
Group 5 = Animations Tab
- A reporter will represent his/her group in discussing their output to
the big group
4. Generalization
What is the use of MS Power Point?
What are the buttons found in each tab of MS Power Point and what are
their functions?
C. Application
Students play the I have... Who has... game
Mechanics:
1. Cards will be distributed randomly
2. Start from the 0 card by reading the text in the card
3. The student who has the answer to question in the previous card will
answer.
4. The game continues until the question is answered by the 0 card.

A. Categorize each button under the tab which it belongs. Write the number
of each item under its appropriate column.
