In ODIs, Sachin Tendulkar has scored centuries against 10 different opponents. He is the first
and the only batsman to score 200 not out in ODI. His 49(& counting) centuries in ODIs is a
world record so far, followed only by Ricky Ponting who has 29 centuries. Seven of these

A nail biting match in the end until Ashish Nehra gave away 10 runs of the very first 2 balls of
50th over. Sachin Tendulkar score classic nelson score 111 in this match. He got out in 40th
over and Indian score became 267 for 2 wickets. India with 8 wickets and 10 overs from here,
Indian final score was 296 all out in 48.4 overs.
All the above statistics clearly shows that Sachin Tendulkar does not plays for his individual
records and if sometimes he becomes cautious before 100 then he should not be blamed for
it.

However if this was not enough for the people who have reasons to hate Sachin Tendulkar,
then below is the list of few prestigious awards to Sachin Tendulkar which clearly announces
him to be the God of Cricket.
1. Padma Vibhushan, Indias second highest civilian award, 2008.
2. Rajiv Gandhi Awards Sports: 2005
3. Maharashtra Bhushan Award, Maharashtra States highest Civilian Award in 2001

He was also the part of ICC World ODI XI in 2004 & 2007. He has the highest number of Man
of the Match & Man of the Series awards under his belt. And when it comes to runs, it is
better to count the stars in the sky of a starry night. Sachin Tendulkar has piled up the most
number of runs in Tests, as well as ODI format on the Cricket. He has highest number of
centuries scored in both the formats.
