Jesus the Christ

1. I am the Bread (John 6:35)

Knowing that Jesus is the Bread of life gives me an assurance that only Him can
satisfy my hunger. As I hunger for more of Him, I believe that He is able to fill me up. Just as
God provided bread for the Israelites before, God also provided Jesus for the world today.
Jesus is more than enough for me.
2. I am the Light (John 8:12)
Darkness flees when there is light. Jesus came into this dark world to become a light.
He showed the right way of thinking and living. Since that I am in the dark world, I need
Jesus. His Word brought light to me. This light helps me see things. Because being
spiritually blind means having no light. Since the day that I accepted Jesus, I believe that He
brought light to me that is why Im seeing things clearer. As He continues to light my way, I
can now easily walk out His plans for my life.
3. I am the Door (John 10:19)
Having Jesus as the door, I believe that I am under His protection. I believe that no
bad things will come into my life as I allow Him to be the door in my life. I am reminded of
the verse, No weapon formed against me shall prosper. I love that Satan cant do
anything once God called out for us.
4. I am the Good Shepherd ( John 10:11)
He is not just a shepherd but He is the Good Shepherd. The good shepherd who laid
down His life for the world was Him. I remembered how many times Ive been lost but still
be found. It is how Jesus did it. He left the heaven and came to the Earth to save us (the
sheep that was lost). He left the 99 to find the one lost sheep. Thats how God showed His
love. Knowing that He is good, I believe that He will bring me to places where only His
goodness will I see.
5. I am the Resurrection and the Life (John 11:25)
Jesus who rose from the dead is living in me. Knowing that He is the Resurrection
and the Life, I believe that whatever dead situation I have right now He is able to bring life
into it. This gives me the assurance that I can rely my salvation only on Him.
6. I am the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6)
Having Jesus gives me the Way to the Truth that brings Life. No one can come to the
Father except through Jesus. The Spirit will lead us to Jesus because He is the Truth. Jesus
which is the Truth brings Life. The truth that Jesus is the only way will lead us to Life which
God has prepared for those who believe. It is amazing to have Jesus and find the way, the
truth and the life.
7. I am the True Vine (John 15:1)
Apart from Him, I can do nothing. I know that in order to bear fruit all I need to do is
just receive from Him. Allowing the Father to prune me makes bear much fruit. Like what He
did to me before entering to this season, He cut some things that must be removed from
my life. I believe that even if it hurts, I know that I will be grateful for that.

I can mostly relate with the Samaritan woman who had a low profile and was rejected by
the rejected. I can relate with her because of the debt that my family has. It made me feel shame
of not being able to study in college. It made me feel insignificant to my batch. It frustrated me for
how many weeks. It made me afraid of my future. But when Jesus came into the picture, I know for
sure something has changed. For the Samaritan woman, she found perfect love that drove out fear
from her. For me, it made me know Jesus more. That He is able to provide. He is everything.
Everything that has happened was used by Him for my good. The devil meant our debt for evil but
God turned it for good. Because right now, this situation brought me to a place of knowing His
plans for my life. If this didnt happen, I guess I wont know Him more like I know Him right now.
The best thing that ever happened was this. Jesus found me in my desperate and hopeless
situation looking for answers of WHY. He gave me answer. I didnt expect that God will mightily use
me in reaching out to people. Just like the Samaritan woman when Jesus found her, she cant help
but share to others Jesus.
