PROCEDURES FOR THE CONDUCT OF THE PRACTICALS
Step I:
 The test in Part A should be conducted first for all the students, preferably in a
single big hall under the strict supervision of the examiner.
 The duration of the test is 40 minutes.
 Every group of students (50 – 72) should be tested with any two question sets.
Alternate sets to be allotted to students during testing to avoid copying.
 The students should be instructed not to write anything on the Question Paper as they
may have to be used for other groups too.
 The students should enter their responses in the Response Coding Sheet only.
 The RCS and the QP should be collected at the end of the test.
Step II:
 Then, the students should be divided into groups ( 10 to 12) for Group Discussion
preferably according to their Register numbers.
 The topics for GD can be given to the First two groups immediately after the
grouping is done. When the first group finishes the GD the topic may be given to
the third group. This process should be followed till the end.
 When a group is called in for the GD,the examiner should conduct the Test in
Stress Shift individually and the marks should be entered by the teacher in their
respective RCS.
 When the test in Stress Shift is over for all the members in a GD group, the GD
should be conducted for the group.
 When the GD is on, the examiner should assess the participants using the
suggested Four-point scale and enter the marks equivalent marks in the RCS.
Step III:
After the conduct of GD for all the Groups, the examiner shall evaluate the student
responses for PART A , and then finalise their summative scores.
