important to the people of that culture. Celebrations of
similar ideas in different countries may have similar
customs or may be vastly different.

Interpretive Mode:
Students will read an article about a celebration in a
Spanish speaking country and write a paragraph
comparing the celebration and a similar celebration in
their country.

Interpersonal Mode:
Students will ask one follow up question about the
presentation of their classmates. Students will respond
to questions about their celebration.

Presentational Mode: Students will create a


presentation on a unique celebration in a Spanish
speaking country. Students will present the information
gathered about their unique celebration in the Spanish

speaking country
