IndonesiaX
IndonesiaX is an e-learning platform, reminiscent of edX, a
university-level Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) platform that
was spearheaded by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
(MIT) and Harvard University in 2012.
Whoever, whenever and wherever in Indonesia, students can learn
from the best instructors from the best universities and companies in
Indonesia and or abroad, to increase their knowledge and life skills,
just by a touch of a button.
IndonesiaX is a not for profit company, registered under the name of
PT Education Technology Indonesia.

Vision
To be the most preferred independent online MOOC/SPOC hosting platform
which enriches lives of Indonesians.
Mission
1. To provide a state-of-the-art, sustainable, and affordable online
MOOC/SPOC hosting platform that offers free high quality online
MOOCs/SPOCs provided by the best local and foreign universities,
government agencies, companies and other respected institutions.
2. To help democratize education and improve life-skills of Indonesians spread
out in Indonesian archipelago.

UCEO Ciputra MOOC
Founded in 2013, UCEO, owned and operated by Universitas Ciputra in Surabaya, offers free and
open Courses for Entrepreneurs that are non-degree earning using OPEN edX system.
No. of Courses: 11
PDITT
Initiated by former Vice President Boediono, and set under Ministry of Research and Higher
Education where 6 leading state universities offer open content to students from partner
universities using Moodle system.
No. of Courses: 30
KelasKita
Founded in 2012 by Ali Kusnadi offers free and paid-for courses from anyone who wants to make
a course for the public. Topics range from academic to life skills, and also include technical
courses. This platform provides access to mentor and learners.

HarukaEdu
Founded in 2013 by Novistiar Rustandi, Tovan Krisdianto, Gerald Ariff, and William Notowidagdo,
offers paid-for degree programs online as well as MOOCs. They have only offered 3 courses so
far: 1 degree program, Online Master of Arts in Communication Studies from the London
School of Public Relations, and 2 MOOCs.
XL E-Learn
Founded in 2015 by XL Axiata, a telco, offers MOOCs with life skills topics related to
professionals. They have offered 6 short courses.
