In a pinch (and when improvising) start all prayers with Oh gracious flower of the dawn and end
with In your name, and in the light of truth I pray
For healing

O she whose glory rises each day without fail. Shine down your healing light upon us now
Light the way for this one my lady
A healing light and helping hand help deliver forth the lay of man
I plead mercy, Draw not twilight upon my eyes, let me bask in the glow and feel my sins revealed in
your light
Save him/her from the loam my lady, it is too early for him/her to return to you
Look upon him/her with eyes of mercy, O Everlight, may you rest your healing hand upon them.

Aid/Protection

O morning star, splendour of the light eternal, and bright sun of righteousness arise! Come and
bring light to those that sit in darkness and dwell in the shadow of death.
He who shalt not hinder will fall. The blinding light of the Dawnflower cannot be cast aside from
shadow. No corner will remain unlit.
Guide my blade so that I may douse the unholy in your light.
Cast aside these doubts and stand fast, for my lady is leaning against you.
Let your light blossom now! In my darkest hour. My strength and my shield. My light is yours!

Light the way for me, my lady
My lady, guide my hands in moments of peril with thy wisdom. Grant swift justice to mine thy
enemies and peace to my friends
The light will guide me, your light is my true ally
By your glory, through this tempest, deliver everlasting light.
Reveal to me your grace, so I blind darkness with your beauty.
Put on the full armour of Sarenrae, so that you can take your stand against the darkness

For the dead/dying

When last light fades from mortal eyes, know that the immortals have taken thine light unto their
own hands. May that light find solace in the embrace of my lady, Sarenrae
Guide this fallen soul. Lend thy gentle radiance and bestow thy patience.
Great goddess of the Sun. Shine your magnificence upon him/her. Guide the newly deceased and
succor their soul in thy redeeming embrace.
May her holy light lift you from your mortal shell. May the grace of the Dawnflower welcome you in
her sweet embrace.

I am blessed in my patience, for I have much to contemplate within the rapture of The Everlight
Sarenrae is my light and my salvation: whom shall I fear? She is the strength of my life: of whom
shall I be afraid?
Dawnflower, lift thou up thy countenance upon us. Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than
in the time of plentiful harvest. I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep for though, Sarenrae,
only makest me dwell in safety

Codes/Vows

May my path be one of compassion. That I never raise my hand in anger, but in defence of others
and myself. That I never ignore a plea for help, that I ever ignore a call for mercy. That I always
extend my hand to those in need, and that I never willingly shun one willing to turn to your glorious
light
My purpose is to protect, not to endanger. To help, not to abandon. To love, not to betray. My path
is for knowledge, not for power, for fairness, not for spite. For trust, and not deception

Threats

Do not deal in shadows or deceit, an honest heart suffers no ill consequence

She is the ever watching star, the flame imperishable. Her warmth resides within me, and shall burn
thee.
In dawns fire be purged!
He shall go to the generation of his fathers: they shall never see light.

Wisdom/Sayings

Man toils so each dawn may be brighter than the last

I believe in the sun, though it is late in rising. I believe in love, though it is absent. I believe in my
lady, though she is silent
Fearlessness is better than faint heart. For the length of my life and day of my death were fated

The sun shines down, and reflects its imagine in a thousand pots filled with water. The reflections
are many, but each reflects the same sun. Similarly, when we come to know who we truly are we
will see ourselves in all people.
When my ladys warriors go down on their knees the battle is not over, it has only just begun

Special Circumstance

In you Dawnflower have I not put my trust? I shall not be afraid of what man can do unto me. Thy
vows are upon me, O Goddess, I will render praises unto thee, for thou hast delivered my soul from
death, wilt thou not deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before you Sarenrae in the light of
the living?
My lady, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy fiery displeasure. I am troubled: My
heart pantheth, my strength fails me: As for the light of mine eyes, it is gone from me. Forsake me
not, O Everlight, my Goddess, be not far from me, make haste to help me. O Sarenrae, my lady. My
salvation
Delight thyself also in the light of my lady. Commit thy way unto her and she shall bring forth thy
righteousness as the light, and thy judgement as the noonday.
Gracious Dawnflower, keep a keen eye over me as I dress for another day of battle. Temptation and
evil will try to overcome me, and sway me from your light. But dressed in your armour, I know that
I will defend against each attack. In your name, and by your light. I pray
