Synopsis
The Story is all about demotivation of an employee towards the new employee on
their company that affects their job and their relation as a friend and as a co-worker
they didnt settle it in a short span of time instead they prefer to shut their mouth and
kept all their issues to themselves that made the working place a silent chaos.

II.
1. Why bella is demotivated? Is she justified to be so?
Bella is demotivated because she has been in the company for so long and yet patty and
bella has a big disparity of the salaries considering that patty is a new comer.
On my opinion and to be honest Yes, it is justify because patty was a new in the field and
despite the benefits of bella she did not get sufficient periodic salary increase in return for
her loyalty and dedication knowing that her present salary including merit increase is still
lower than being receive by bella.
2. Describe the relation between bella and patty. Where their behavior justified? Explain
your stand?
Despite all the information bella remained friendly to patty but maintained distance there
seem be silent hostility between the two.
No, it is not justify because being in a working place we should be professional we set
aside all our personal issues in order to do our task properly and effectively.
3. What is the immediate long range problem in the case?
The long range problem to this case is that they inserting personal issue in their work that
leads to distraction, anxiety that affect the performance of both parties.
4. Propose a solution to these problems.
One must approach the other to talk about their issues and settle it as early as possible. Be
open and honest about their emotions, problems to the other to free the burden that kept
them from doing their job well and if they cant settle on their own let the supervisor
handles all the concerns and take action for a solution that will benefits both parties.
